  Right back you you! Oh nice, so you’ve still got a whole extra year before you have to worry about the real world. Hah, Samson can be a bit of a stinker too, but he’s a cuddle bug most of the time. Oh goodness, that must get exhausting, Samson’s pretty good about staying put.

Err-- I tend to plan out things to the dot and let's just say I've been worrying since the end of my first year!

  Oh please, you think my father hasn’t tried to marry me off? He’s a pureblood through and through! I’ve been paraded out in front of future brides since I was five, at least your dad waited awhile! It’s all about their status with them, all about how my marriage to a suitable pureblood wife could help their standing, and all about how my little pureblood children can help them after they’ve sucked me dry and tossed me aside. If they were ever to find out that I’d slept with someone that they hadn’t set me up with, or someone of a different blood status, I’d be blacklisted for months! If they found out that I’ve slept with other men, I’d find myself out on the streets in seconds!

I guess we can both agree it sucks. But... Maybe that can be a good thing... Maybe our generation can be the one to make a change? "Break the cycle" or however that goes... Well I can't relate to that, I mean for one thing I- er- *face colors slightly and mutters* I have never.... Been with another person.... Do you have an idea about what you wanna do after graduation? At least then you won't have to be so dependent/reliant on him?

  He shrugs, “it’s all right…my parents passed when I was young, like one or two but I don’t really have much to say about it.” he says. He barely knew his parents, he only had the faintest of memories with them. He didn’t miss them but he missed what they might have been. 

Sensing the unspoken pain behind his expression, she gently laid her hand on his shoulder. She looked him in the eyes to convey her sincerity, "I don't think that what happened to you is all right... And you may be trying to hide that from the world, but I can perceive the truth deep down." Being more concerned for the hurting man in front of her than proper conduct, she wrapped him in a comforting hug and whispered softly, soothingly, " You don't have to be all right. Nobody is completely ever alright... And that is okay."

  It wasn’t too painful, not after I lost feeling in half my body! -laughs- Well, not only do I have a bit of fame from the accident, but word on the street is that I’m the top candidate for Quidditch captain next year. I’ll be walking tall, that’s for sure! -scoffs, rolling his eyes- Yeah, it’s like all that money makes them bloody gods. It can be nice when it works in your favour, like getting a private hospital room for four months while you wait for the best healers in the world to fix your back, but it’s usually just annoying. I swear, I think that man only fixed me up because he thinks I’m a valuable asset.

Well, I guess it was kinda worth it then, huh? *snorts* In their minds I bet they are! *scoffs* I'm sorry, but you think you have it bad with your father? My father is archaic! All I am to that man is a bargaining tool... An animal to groom until it is old enough to be sold at auction to the highest bidder! Bit in the mouth and everything! If I have to spend another ball attempting to converse with another of my father's pick for a suitor, whoo only wishes to talk of himself and his money and the like, I think I'll scream and rip my hair out!!!!

  "Well thanks," he said, "To be honest, I think it’s a bad idea to belittle your own suffering, it’s okay to just say that something sucks and leave it at that. You don’t have to say you should be grateful when you’ve lost someone important." 

"You're very welcome," she smiled. "Eh it sucks, but I mean I try to look at the bright side; like, you know it could always be worse! You talk as though you've lost someone.... I don't mean to pry..." She trailed off.
