Sometimes I look through this blog and get really nostalgic. I started this when I was 14 and was really into this amazing, unsigned band that a guy I subscribed to on YouTube had started. At 15 I met them at a shitty local venue, at a Halloween show they had JUST been added to, where no one knew who they were but myself and my friends. At 17 I had the chance to take over their national street team, which I ran for about six months before my career became too time consuming for that to be viable. Fast forward to two years later and I'm almost 20, have an amazing career, and literally nothing in my life is the same except for the love I still have for these guys. I was lucky enough to consider them friends throughout the years but now it's hard to see them when they come through because of work and money, (the last time being warped tour, and I left before I got to see them because of a situation with my now ex and my shitty ex-roommate) and it's honestly just hard to keep in touch. Through it all though I am still so proud of the Set it Off boys (past and present) to a point beyond expression, and I'll never forget the memories I've shared with them. They were an integral part of my life when I was growing up and finding myself, and as I continue to do so I will never discount the impact that they and their music has had on my life. They are branded on my heart forever and the effect they've had on me is one to remember for a life time. I've been asked many times to delete this blog or hand it over to someone else to continue but I can't bring myself to let this go. It marks an important part of my life with some very important people. You just don't forget the people who created the music and experience that saved your life. If any of the boys happen to read this (considering you all followed this at some point) just know that I am still here, I still love and care about you just the same, and I miss you dearly. You will never not be important to me and I will never not care about your well-being or success. You're incredible humans and you deserve every ounce of success you've had in the past, present and future. <143 Jerelyn
