Wyll was loyal beyond any comparison. Any metaphor would fail him, the fire that burned in his eyes gazing upon his lover, the way he held onto every sentence, his footprints near matched theirs, falling in line, working to become one. It would be only natural for that to continue in intimacy.

His reverence was silent unless encouraged in which he moaned out their name with every touch, thrust, murmur, nudge, every finger buried into his hair matched with a, “Yes, my love.” He went to any lengths for their pleasure, not satisfied until his love was breathless, curling into him, and then he would gently bathe them, hold them, and ask how he could do it better next time.

Tav was reclining, Wyll reading beside them, though his hand rested always on their thigh, always on some part of them. Their hand brushed over his, and he looked up, alert to any need of his love.

“Wyll—I’ve been thinking—“

“As you tend to.” Wyll interjected, smirking and chuckling.

“—Yes, yes, anyways. I was wondering how we could…incorporate something into our intimate times together. Not that it isn’t amazing as it is—you are breathtaking, literally and figuratively.”

“Stop, my ego is large enough as it is, you need not encourage me further.” Wyll beamed with pride, betraying his words and encouraging further praise, as usual.

“I shall, however, it will be in a different way than usual. You’ve read countless romance novels, as you are right now—yes you covered it with the title of a tactical war book but I know what it is.” Tav narrowed their eyes playfully at Wyll, and he held the book to his heart and his other to his forehead.

“Oh, how you wound me with your accusations! How cruel, to compliment me and harm me in equal measures, how—“

Tav shut him up with a kiss, and he melted under their touch, shuddering as they pulled away, leaning into them for more.

“Shush. Let me explain and you can have more than just a kiss.” Tav whispers, their hand tracing from his face down his shoulders.

“Yes, my love.” He bit his lip, looking up at them near pleading.

“I did some research of my own, with our last trip to the library I purchased some delightful smut of my own, and I would love to play out some of what I read, with your agreement, of course.”

Tav pulled back, reaching beside the couch they were on and pulling out a book with the title “Unchaste Chivalry: A Knight and His Liege”. They handed the title to Wyll, smiling devilishly.

“You’ve rubbed off on me, I suppose. I would like for you to skim it, and see if you would be interested in perhaps playing out some of the work therein. I feel as though ours would be more accurate, with your training—not that we need to include the rapiers and all but…if you want.” Their smile dropped slightly as they spoke, Wyll looking down at the cover and tracing the embroidered title.

Tav blushed, looking away as they remembered what exactly lay between the covers, regardless of the fact that they had sex many times at this rate, the openness of revealing your fantasies to a lover is still a level of vulnerability that could cause any to fluster.

“I shall pick up this tome post-haste my love, and report back once I am finished. In the meanwhile, could we continue with our usual modus operandi?” Wyll wiggled his eyebrows and Tav laughed, breaking the tension.

“I did promise I would give you more than a kiss, and I am nothing but if not a person of my word.” Tav spoke with a darkness and warmth to their voice, leaning back into Wyll, their arms wrapping around his strong shoulders.
