hrrrgh. basically started a whole story bc i thought too hard abt this DoD step

as usual.

then the subject of ninja came up in another chain so i made another boy

after that it was over. now there’s 7 main charas. god help us all

but at the time this was drawn it was only these 5. from left to right it’s:

kaerusuke: youngest of the squad. distant and prideful. doesn’t need your help, baka. constantly in trouble for one reason or another. frog enthusiast

sakanatsume: beanstalk. extremely quiet and sort of creepy. smelly. loves the ocean more than himself. he has friends & they’re all fish

toriyoshi: bird whisperer. speaks in riddles. overactive flight response. a sweetheart despite his alliances. bullied for being emo

konchuurou: incapable of sitting still. messy worker. never takes anything seriously. prankster. a friend to all grasshoppers

kagema (in the BG): 1000 yr old demon but like a cool teacher. overprotective. hates the government. fueled by spite. actually really self-conscious

not pictured are also:

koumoriya: bat man. bloodthirsty. overly smug for having done fuckall. takes credit for your hard work. bullies everyone but can’t take one insult

and

haetorika: no sense of personal space. greedy. unreasonably aggressive. a little stupid. bites everything near her on impulse & often lives to regret it
