Chapter 2

        Next Day

      Hospital A&E

I walk in, putting on my gloves, I listen to Belinda, “So who bit you? Was it a dog? Was it a man? Was it your wife?” I smile gently and run the tests, “She’s tachy at 120, Systolic at 70.. What has she been given?” I turn to look at Paramedic Kirby, “She’s had one gram of TXA, five milligrams of morphine, and she’s got a gram of IV paracetamol.” I nod, continue to wheel the lady to a private room as Belinda keeps talking to the women, “I’m sorry, but I’ve phoned your daughter, and she’s on her way. Is there anything else I can get you? How about a nice cup of tea and a sandwich?” I smile at Belinda, and we watch nurses and a doctor tend to the women as we head to the nurses' station. Belinda and I went back all the way to the beginning of our employment at A&E., I was the mother of our friend group, I was always helping and taking care of her. (Even paid her rent once)  “You’re good at what you do.” I nudge her gently and rub hand sanitizer on my hands, and go through my notes for the night crew.

I yawn and head out, throwing my coat over my shoulders and passing a man talking to the receptionist, “No.” The man groans, “Just one little name.” The receptionist shakes her head, annoyed at the long line he was causing, “I can’t give out home addresses, it’s not allowed.” The man points to the door, “Oh! Look over there!” I laugh to myself, shaking my head, and walk out, only for the lights in the hospital to go out seconds later. “Glad I don’t have to deal with that mess tonight.” 

I wait for the bus as I type on my phone, I look at the notifications from the many dating apps I had, but refused to actually use. She was out there somewhere, she promised me, and I promised her. But then again, when did promises ever mean anything to either of us? I get on the bus and sit, I put in my earbuds, and wait until my stop comes. 

I finally get to my apartment and get my keys out, only to hear a loud commotion 2 houses down. I look and see robots, Red, egg-shaped robots with two arms and legs, and a circular screen on the front. I rush over, dropping my things, and see Belinda panicking, “Is this some kind of joke? You’re not real, actual robots, are you? Cos that is just.. Ridiculous. Oi!! You’re wrecking the place! And my landlord is… not a nice man.” I watch a robot go up the stairs as the other robots pin Belinda between the counters and the fridge. I tried to get to Belinda, but I had no way to without getting caught. I hide behind a wall and listen to their conversation. “Residents will stay in their rooms.” The robots downstairs say, Belinda tries to make light of the situation, 'Don’t tell me he needs the toilet.” I look around trying to find a way to help her, but I was a stupid and selfish time lord, I didn’t know how to help someone, nor help myself. I had let myself become weak, and I had to watch a human suffer. 

The robot walks downstairs and shows a certificate to Belinda, “You are Missbelindachandra?” Belinda looks at the robots, confused about how they knew her name. The robots responded to her, “Name confirmed. Your Majesty. “ I watch the robots shove her out the back door and towards the ship. That’s when I see a very dead Mr. Whiskers. I cover my mouth and rush to poke my head out from behind the door, I see Mrs. Flood walk out of her house, “Belinda? What’s going on?” Mrs. Flood looks at Belinda and then at the spaceship. Belinda makes up a crazy story about the cat and tells Mrs. Flood to tell her adoptive parents that she loves them. Mrs. Floods looks at Belinda as she’s sucked up into the space ship, “Oh, take care, Belinda. Bye-bye!”

I rush out, to Belinda as she’s sucked up, I look over the fence and try to find Mrs. Floods only to see that she has vanished. I hear a guy run out yelling Belinda's name. I look at the man, “Who the hell are you?” He turns to me and tries to catch his breath, “The doctor. Now tell me what happened and what you know. *Now*.”

I finish telling him the story as he brings me towards a police box, and I pause. “What are you trying to get me to do?” He pushes me into it, I look around, A Tardis. The doctor starts telling me what it is, “A TARDIS… A Time Lord ship.. Which is impossible because only my wife and I got out that day.” The doctor looks at me questioningly but quickly moves past the thought and pushes buttons, and we start traveling to try and catch up with Belinda. 

Time Skip

                    North Zone, MissBelindachandraplanet

I sit down quickly and look around, and then look towards the doctor, “Where the hell are we?” The doctor looks towards me and Belinda, “Welcome to the North Zone.” He then looks towards Belinda. “It’s interesting… that diploma from the Star Register. If I’m right, that thing is dangerous.” Belinda doesn’t respond to the doctor and goes towards a wounded rebel and looks towards Shago, “Okay… It’s empty. Can I replace it?” Shago nods and points towards the extra Simolin, “Help yourself. Simolin, IV kits, sanferric over there. Disinfect with mylos. Your Majesty.” Belinda nods and starts helping the wounded. I kneel with her and start helping, “It must be crazy.. That people think you are some Queen.” Belinda nods, frowning, “I’m really not though..” I nod, “Well yeah I know… but to them you are… to them you’re their savior.. More than I can say about myself.” Belinda interrupts me as she puts a blanket over the man, only for it to show his heart, lungs, and rib cage. Belinda gasps, “Oh, my god! It’s like…” I smile, “X-ray blankets… I haven’t seen these in a while.” Belinda looks at it, “X-ray blankets..?” The doctor looks over and nods, “Radiation-free. And look, the main difference between humans and Missbelindachandrakind. Instead of the kidneys and the liver, all the detox is carried out here in an organ called the paculum. Belinda looks at the doctor, “Like a second diaphragm.” The doctor nods, “Exactly.” 

I walk away, helping some other injured men and women, when suddenly I hear Belinda gasp, “You have two hearts?” I perk up, ‘Two hearts..?’. Belinda then asks him why the others don’t have two hearts, too. The doctor shakes his head, “Oh, no. I’m not part of their species. I’m from a different planet.” I look up and walk over, “A different planet, huh?” The doctor nods. I nod back at him and grab more supplies, ‘A different planet… could he be another time lord.. He has the ship.. He has the two hearts… could he be her regeneration…? No, he was too kind, not logical enough.’

Time Skip

    AI Generator Chamber

I look back and forth, apparently the whole reason the planet is the way it is, is because of Belinda, ex, Alan. Apparently, he thought this was all a game, and because of this he let himself become AI, and become a sort of dystopian ruler. Belinda then realizes why Alan has done all this and responds to the doctor's question about why she had stopped dating Alan. “Cos all he ever did was correct me. And tut, and huff, and roll his eyes and tell me off.” She then looks at Alan in disgust, “Oh, my God, you've taken coercive control and made it complete control of the whole planet! How can you live with yourself?” Then the doctors realize Alan has been trying to send us signals, No. No. Every ninth word. Your brain interfaces with the machine on an eight-part loop. So every speech, every ninth word, your mind is free. Every ninth word tells us the truth.“ I look at the doctor, “You’re right.. “Help me.. Save me.. Pain.”

Belinda then realizes she could use one of the robots to destroy Alan and end the pain he was constantly in because of the invention. But Belinda couldn’t escape until the Doctor pulled her back. He laughed, hugging her tightly, “Ouch! Oh! Oh, you needed a Time Lord to take the kaboom! But wow! Oh, Bel, baby! Ha! I just went through your entire life like a bullet! The Time Fracture sent me like, whooosh! And Bels! Oh, you are... amazing, Belinda Chandra. You and me, we go back years!!” I smile, and Belinda looks around, “But where’d he go?” I watch the doctor use a sonic screwdriver and point to a small speck of something. “I think he may be microscopic..” Belinda looks at me, “Do you mean…” I nod, chuckling, “He’s a spern and an egg..” Suddenly, a cleaning robot comes and cleans the speck. The doctor closes his mouth, “Oh.. well, goodbye, Alan.” We all laugh, and we walk back to the TARDIS.

Time Skip

      Inside the TARDIS

I watch as Belinda tries to wrap her head around the fact that the TARDIS is bigger on the inside. I chuckle, amused. The Doctor looks at me suspiciously, but by the time I look at him, he masks it. Belinda finally walks in, “This is cool and all. But let's get me and Sam home. 24th of May, 2025. My shift starts at 7:30 am. Thank you very much.” I smile and wait for the doctor to send us back, only for the TARDIS to fail to do its just by actually traveling. Belinda narrows her eyes, upset, “Doctor, i told you. Get me home!” The doctor nods, “I am!” Belinda argues back, “You are not!” The doctor frowns and tries one more time, “Oh, this might be the long way round, Miss Belinda Chandra, but hold on tight. Because this is going to be quite a ride.” I groan and hold on tight to a chair. 

As the TARDIS shakes, I fall and slam my head on the railing. 

Chapter 1

5 years B.T.W (Before the time war)

Palace of Citadel, Gallifrey

The palace bells rang, marking a new age. Gallifrey, a beautiful planet, was my home. The sun shone bright against the Arkytior. My father had the gardeners plant over 1,000 flowers (a little over the top). For me and my wife to walk through, people from all over the planet came to watch us exit the palace doors. But at that moment, all I could see and hear was her. Always her, forever and always. I finally looked away from her and waved at the people, my people. I looked at my wife, my queen, as she looked back at me, everything was perfect.

After several more minutes, we make it to a carriage where it will eventually take us to Southern Gallifrey, where She and I will spend a month, per tradition, together, in peace. As the world around us grows quieter, I look at her, “Have I told you how beautiful you look, love..?” I smile, she turns to me and gently holds my chin, “You’ve only told me 20 times already, my dear..” She gently brings me closer to her, rubbing shoulders as we travel a little under 25 miles to our destination. I take her hand softly and trace my fingers along her palm, ones caused by her experiments. “That one is new… You promised you’d be careful ####..” She looks at me and sighs, “I was… it just got a little out of hand.” She looks at you and sighs, a little annoyed about this talk on the happiest day of her life, “I’m fine, it’s fine. Now focus on my love… I want to hear the creative ways to have you tonight.. And every night for eternity..” I smile, scoffing at her scandalous talk, “Oh, you know what I like.” I smirk. Everything was perfect.

650 Years ATW (After the time war)

London, England

I  kneel down and whisper a Gallifreyan prayer. 650 years ago, 649 years ago, I ran away. I ran away from my planet as a war raged through it. I didn’t make the choice, but I followed it. I let myself be led away from my people, the people I should've saved 650 years ago. I was a traitor to my kind, I was a traitor to my homeland. I gave myself my own nickname, ‘Traitor princess’. Before I was separated from my wife, 620 years ago, she told me I wasn't at fault, if anything, to blame her, the mad scientist she was. She was banished, and the Dalek came. I couldn’t live without her, and my people couldn’t live without me. If I had… *knock* I freeze as I hear the knock at my apartment door. I grumble and open it. It was Mrs. Floods, one of the only people on my street I didn't mind interrupting my solemn morning. 

I look at her worried, “Mrs. Floods, is everything okay, hun?” She was an older lady, retired, mid-70s. She was always out and about, jogging at 5 am in the morning, bringing me cookies on my birthday. Which freaked me out the first time, I didn’t remember telling her that information, but maybe I had. Mrs. Flood looks softly at me, “I hope I’m not interrupting you, dear, but I couldn’t help but wonder if you say my cat. I’m afraid I thought I closed my door. Me and My Old Brain.” I smile sadly, “No, I haven't. But I can help you go look for…?” I wasn’t going to lie, I didn't know she had a cat, nor the name of said cat. Mrs. Flood doesn't keep me thinking for too long, “Whiskers, her name was Whiskers.” I nod, “Whiskers, I knew that...” I chuckle, “Give me a moment to change, and I'll go out and help look.” Mrs. Floods nod as I turn my back, and I don't notice her face changing emotions. 

I quickly change and meet Mrs. Floods outside, and we start our search. I look around and click my tongue, looking for her cat. “Did he have any nicknames?” I turned to the older lady, but she only shook her head and kept looking around. As I continued walking in front of her, I didn't notice the way she looked at me. It was hard to describe, as she was a very difficult person to decipher. 

After several hours of trying, we decided to call it a day, plus I could tell Mrs. Flood lacked the energy she had at the beginning of the search. “How about I try again before work tomorrow? I hope news arrives soon for you.” Mrs Flood nods, “Yes, very well. Thank you anyway, Sam.” I nod, a chill running down my spine, the way she said it reminded me of her. But I let it go, I had to, like she had let me go. 

1 hour later

  Home

I draw myself a bath and throw in a random bath bomb, god i needed it. Looking for a lost pet and dealing with grief, I needed alone time and hot water. I strip and step into the hot water. I lean on the ledge of the bathtub and close my eyes, letting the water lap around me. I slowly fall asleep, letting dreams wander into my mind. 

“You really think you found a way ####?” My eyes go wide as i watch her rush around the lab room, mixing and pouring things into a container. “And you are 100% sure this is safe, and it isn’t going to kill me?” I ask my wife, a little skeptical. She rolls her eyes playfully, “I wouldn’t kill you dear, i only would do that if you *really* annoyed me. Plus it has to… we don’t have any other options.” I nod, and watch her put it into a syringe and walk over to the metal bed i was sitting on. “Is it going to hurt..” I look at the pointy needle. She shrugs, gently inserts it, and pushes down on the plunger, as it’s injected into my womanly parts. I whine gently, *heavily uncomfortable*. “Are you done yet..?” I peak, and i see her throwing the needle away. She nods and comes over to me, “Yes… and now we wait..” She rubs my cheek, “You’ll wait for me, right..?”

I wanted to do a ATLA series after not writing for so long...! This is more of a introductory less dialogue then I normally do.

I was raised right, taught the right things, i was protected and loved. My parents were the very few intertwined families. My father was born fire nation and my mom in the southern water tribe. When they were young, just barley young adults they moved to a small village on the outskirts of the fire nation. My mother had the looks to pull off being fire nation, with the help of my father it was easy to hide her as a non fire nation bender. People trusted my father, he was a general a top ranking one at the that too.

When my parents had me they had many reasons to be concerned, my mother of course wasn't fire nation. Their concerns were quickly washed away as i had come out as much of a stereotypical fire bender could, the only slight difference was my skin being the same tan as my own mothers.

There was no doubt in my parents minds that I was a fire bender. Until I turned 5, my parents decided to go to ember island for a vacation, a day away from the fire nation and a day where my father didn't have to suck up to the fire lord. It was their first time on vacation after having me, so me being scared of the water was bound to happen.

They had gently walked me to the ocean, when suddenly a wave crashed down scaring me, which my parents expected, but what my parents weren't expecting was the water starting to rise up around us. My mother instantly brought the water down and picked me up. My father looked around nobody saw, they were safe. That day was the last day my parents didn't have to worry.

As I grew older I realized that I was different, that I had to hide. I wasn't like the other kids, I wasn't a fire bender. I learned to deal with it, learned to play pretend, my parents taught me that I had to survive no matter what.

One day my mother had decided to visit the water tribe, something she didn't do often because of our circumstances, that day the fire nation attacked killing all the water benders of the southern water tribe. My mother was one of them. I was with my mom that day, I was lucky I looked like I belonged with the fire nation. The soldiers thought I had wondered onto the ship that day and brought me back.

I was afraid of revealing who my father was, I was only 9 at that time, the general on that ship that day had taken me in. I never saw my father again, I'm not sure if he is out there somewhere to this day or if his secrets were found out shortly after I arrived back to the fire nation.

I sit in the carriage has my dad looked out the window, his face unreadable. "Why does the fire lord wish to see us both?" he looks at me pursing his lips, "I'm thinking a war meeting something like that." I raise an eyebrow ready to ask another question but the carriage comes to a stop at the palace. A guard opens the door as my dad steps out of the carriage he lets out a hand to help me down. The guard nods his head as he leads us to the thrown room where fire Lord Ozai sits with Queen Ursa and their two children. My dad bows down as I quickly follow his lead.

"General Zhao, it's nice to see you." I watch as the fire lord talks, a chill moves throughout my body. My father speaks but I don't hear what he says as i look around the room, fire blaring probably Lord Ozai's own fire. I look back over to the royal family Ursa gently smiles, as the kids look bored as ever.

FEM!READER X GEORGE FAN/FAYNE

So much had changed, I used to be an unknown, I didn't have fame, nor did I ever really want it. But coming to horseshoe bay everything is revealed one way or another. Thanks mom.

I wasn't special, or atleast in a way people normally think of, I could speak to ghosts. But I don't really think of it as anything special, just another thing to add to my life.

Meeting Nancy, George, Nick, Ace, and Bess, wasn't out of the ordinary went to The Claw, needed food. Met George who was my waitress and was served food. Then BAM, walked in Nancy Drew, with her oh so familiar inquisitive look that I can now read like the back of my hand.

Suddenly, as quick as she came in, they all left... including me to the lake to summon some wish giving spirit called the agleca, and having to use our own blood to being this spirit to us. Great.

"I just wanted fish and chips,I didn't want blood and chips. I don't even know you guys, WHY did I agree to this." Nancy looks over at me "Because you evavsdropped and we got you to say yes." I look over at nancy and roll my eyes looking back down at the mirror. I'm not going to lie I knew what was going to happen, it's not like I've never done a seance, or summoning spell before. I literally speak to ghosts. Lucky for me I just happened to know this spirit personally.

Slowly the waves slowed down and went farther away from us and suddenly coming forward revealing bones, Lucy Sables bones to be exact. That's exactly where our story leads us. Right here, right now.

Bess runs in with the latest magazine, yelling out my name, "Y/N, Y/N, YOUR ON THE FRONT PAGE." I quietly sighed, I took on my father's legacy, I didn't want to be anything like the old Hudsons, but I wasn't going to lie when I was asked to model for some magazine covers. George walks over and looks over my shoulder, "Great, now it's going to go over your head, and we'll lose an employee."

I rolled my eyes and looks back to the title, 'New owner of the Hudsons business? Y/N Hudson' I cringed at the title, "My face looks weird in that photo, ew..." George, who was still looking, "Yeah, you look a little distorted in the picture there." I lightly pushed George away, "That's my face your talking about, only I get to shit talk it" George Smirks and walks back to he front counter to help a customer who just walked in. I walked back unto the kitchen, unknowingly being followed by George's eyes.

I walked over to Ace who was fixing up a couple of fish files and a tuna salad I was yo bring to table 7. Ace not taking his eyes off the stove, "Yknow George likes you, you should ask her out." I look over at Ace and stare at him annoyed, "Her? Out of everyone here, likes me? I seriously doubt it, eay things are going her and nick will get back together again." Ace shakes his head while looking over at me, "I highly doubt that, Nick started dating some other girl, George is all yours."

I click my tongue, "Well, I doubt I'm her type anyway. My face is to distorted." Ace chuckles lightly and hands off the 3 finished plates.

By the end of the day, my face which George already thinks is distorted is all red and sweaty. Nancy who as always looks like she just got q nice shower and a good day at a spa opens up her work locker, I look over at bess and back to nancy "Okay, tell me if I'm wrong-" geroge cuts in "Wrong" I give her the side eye and start talking again to bess. "Nancy always looks like she just came from the Spa, while the rest of us look like we just tried to fight a wild bear I'm the middle of the forest behind our house."

Bess shrugs her shoulders, "some people are lucky like that" I shrug my shoulder, "Couldn't be me." I await a response from George but don't hear anything, except her talking to Nancy, looking towards me, and looking straight back to nancy. I shrug it off, probably something to do with work ethic and how nancy needs to work harder. Not that nancy has ever listened to anything like that before.

Me and nancy arrive to our house and nancy leaves telling me she has some work in her office so she can't be disturbed. I lightly shrug my shoulders and head to the couch, to watch some much needed TV time. Before i could get myself comfortable I hear the door knock. Nancy wasn't going to get it, so I would have to get it. I stood up and walked to the door opening it.

Opening the door reveald and anxious George who is normally anything but that. "Hey Hudson, can we talk?" I roll my eyes, "I have a name George, I look away annoyed. George let's out a large sigh, "Dear Lord Y/N, just look at me, the way I look at you" I look up at her in shock, "W-what?" George sighs and looks at me, "Look at me like I look at you, infact just never look away from me." I couldn't help it, I had fallen madly in love with george and seemingly she had to, I finally looked up at her and pulled her in for a soft kiss. "How about this..." George looks at me smiling, "Perfect."
