im gonna trust you less if you say shit like “i don’t think transphobic things” as opposed to “sometimes i think transphobic things but i challenge myself on them” bc literally everybody was raised in a transphobic society and exhibits transphobic thought to some degree so if you think you’re immune to that you’re actually just not cognisant of the ways you are in fact being transphobic
