Also two cents on how i think Fluttershy became immortal in my au:
During her pregnancy with her, Discord, and macs first child, Kerfuffle (bio. FxD), the chaos magic in her was rather unstable. It trying to protect itself, along with Discord worried for her, unknowingly, made her immortal. Due to it being a sort of deformed part of his own magic that went rouge, Discord cant undo it (and doesn't really want to be alone, anyway). They didn't realise until she... really didn't age. at all.
