“Hey!” Luke smiled as the woman slipped across the room and leaned a little closer to him. It was surreal seeing her again, even if he only had the faintest of memories from those years of his life. Looking the woman in the face, however, he just felt it in his gut that she was truly his elder sister. Unknown variables aside, he had to be thankful for the resurrection spell for that much.

“Uh, well, I don’t really know a lot about them besides hearsay and rumors - but what I do know for a fact is that they are over a thousand years old and the first vampires to ever walk the planet. Their mother was the Original Witch who created vampire-kind.” He answered for her. “So they’re like… vampire royalty?”

Eleanor smiled fondly as she looked at her little brother, unable not to see the adorable blonde toddler who used to bug her to play whatever game he and Liv had cooked up together. They too had deserved so much better than the life they had been handed. They had that much in common. Being a Parker fucking sucked. “Damn, that’s... something. But, hey, we come from a mega powerful line of witches. That’s not half-bad either. I mean, the merge part sucks. The psycho brother part too.” Yeah, they didn’t exactly compare to vampire royalty. “So, is it better to stay away from them or are they not too bad?”

“Apparently so!  Sometimes the universe is kind, I suppose, to those who deserve it.  Or need it.  Whatever the criteria was for our return.”  At the good news she wrapped an arm gently around the other woman’s shoulders.  “That’s fantastic news!  I’m so happy for you - I hope you find the others soon enough.”  As they approached the bar Daisy gestured toward it.  “What would you like?”

“Yeah, I guess I’m kind of entitled to a few kind gestures after the shit I’ve been through,” she admits with a chuckle, the brother that murdered her popping in her mind. “I hope I find most of them soon. I could do without one in particular.” As Len stopped in front of the bar with Daisy, she paused and took a deep breath. It felt like she hadn’t had a drink in forever. Did alcohol tolerance go down when you were dead? “Gin and tonic.”

Daisy smiled as she realized who she was talking to, happy to see the young woman again.  “Oh, you don’t have to thank me for any of that - I’d like to think any decent person would do the same.  Especially any decent person who’d been given a second chance like I have.”  She gestured toward the bar.  “May I get you a drink?”

“Yeah, it seems like seconds chances are getting handed out left and right lately,” Eleanor told her with a smile. It felt like a good thing, mostly. Just depended on who was getting brought back. She hadn’t heard of the brother who had murdered her yet, so that was good. “I would love a drink actually.” She walked with Daisy in direction of the bar, looking around at the crowd. “I found my family, by the way. Well, some of them.”

To say that Daisy was a little bit uncomfortable was akin to saying that being caught in a tidal wave might make you wet.  She was hardly used to the concept of being alive at all, much less being in a party full of people - most of whom she barely knew.  The music was loud, at least, and the beer was plentiful, and after a dance with Nic she’d wandered through the crowd until she managed to back straight into someone hard enough that she nearly fell.  Her eyes flashed and she had to force herself to take a breath rather than just running from the room, and when her heart finally slowed she managed to find her voice.

“I am so sorry.  Let me get out of your way.”

“No, you okay,” Len assured Daisy immediately, waving her concern away. She had seen the woman from across the room and had seeked her out. She had been so kind to her that day at the bar, she felt like thanks were in order. “I wanted to thank you for how nice you were to me the other day. Offering to help me find a place to stay, work. You didn’t have to do that and I hope you know I appreciated it a lot.”

A party had been unexpected, but a decades party had been even more of a surprise. When Luke had gone in search of what to wear for such an occasion, though, he had been pleasantly amused by the attire he came up with. He even had found a rather fetching, in his mind, hat that he just might keep around once this event had finished up.

The mansion was magnificent as the witch strolled through the wide front doors and into the party’s proper. He rocked slightly with the music that pumped from the sound system and shimmied his way through the sea of people to the open bar - grabbing himself a drink and turning around to face the party. “So this is a Mikaelson party?” He spoke to himself with a hum. Len was still reeling from her big reunions with not one, not two, but three of her siblings. Siblings she had thought she would never see again. It was definitely an adjustment to see the twins she had only known as toddlers all grown up, but she was slowly coming around to the idea. Not that she had much of a choice. She was back to the land of the living and had no choice but to make the best out of it, which was why she decided to attend the decades party. Smoothing down her dress, she leaned closer to the little brother than now looked older than she did. “Who exactly are the Mikealsons again? Why are they a big deal?”

annabeth had awoken confused and in an unfamiliar place. she had no idea how or why she was back. but she knew that magic had something to do with it. and yet she couldn’t seem to find any of her very large family. or maybe what was left of it. had they come back too? had kai even gotten all of them. the questions were just flowing through her head. she walked down the street, wandering around. she slipped into the mystic grill. “ellie,” she muttered when she spotted the other at the bar. she quickly rushed towards her sister. “you’re alive,” she muttered.

Relief flooded Len as a face she actually knew materialized next to her in the form of her little sister. She instantly wrapped her arms around the smaller girl, pulling her in a tight hug. “So it seems,” she said with a wide smile as she pulled her sister far enough back to see her face. “Do you remember what happened that night? My memories are hazy, at best. I remember Kai completely losing it and then... nothing.” 

The Grill was a natural gathering point, and one that Daisy could find a comfortable spot in even when she was still getting used to being back. Sipping a glass of wine, the voice beside her caught her attention and she quickly shook her head.  “I’m pretty new to town myself, but if you’d like to talk to my daughter and son in law I’m sure they could help.  Can’t have you out there with no place to stay.”

Eleanor smiled gratefully at the woman. She was so willing to help even if she had no idea who Len was, which was a pretty rare thing apparently. "That’s very kind of you. I’m staying at the shelter right now, it’s just... not ideal. Better than living in a dark, secluded alley, though,” she said with a smile, hoping to lighten the mood. “Do your daughter and son-in-law take in strays often?”

Lucky for the twins, they knew how to get cash quickly when they needed to and if they needed to use magic to do so they didn’t mind. Luke usually with his herbs and Liv had a few tricks up her sleeve finding some idiots who wanted palm readings or something along the lines. Thinking an artsy looking blonde with curls for days had some higher power, which worked well for her. Eating at the Grill saved her money, way she saw it maybe human Damon felt guilty and had the idea that he had to make up for his past. When the body next to her started speaking Liv let out a sigh, people person never really ran true for her turning in her seat to look at the girl she pauses, “Ah crap.” Pictures of the lost Parker siblings had made up a little shrine in their home, while pictures of Kai had all but been wiped clean from within the house, with good reason. This was one of the four faces that haunted the Parker home for eighteen years of Liv’s life. “Given I’ve been dead for the last eighteen or so years I’m a little behind on the whose hiring and who isn’t around here.”

“Ah, crap sounds about right, yeah. Whatever I thought my future was going to look like way back when, it certainly didn’t look like this,” Len said with a scoff, taking a look at the other blonde. “That makes two of us then. For me, I would say it’s been more around... thirty-ish years? The world did not look like this last time I was around. The whole no identity thing also makes it a little hard to get a job. Along with having absolutely no experience to speak for.”

Luke hadn’t really had a direction when he woke up that morning. After making sure that Liv was fine for the umpteenth hundredth time, he finally made his way into town. Things seemed to be calming down a little bit as everyone was gradually adjusting to the influx of new and old faces into the general public, but Luke couldn’t help and wonder just what kind of attention this was going to bring down upon the Falls - and what this kind of exposure would do for the supernatural world.

He slid into a stool at the Grill - lost in his thoughts until a woman spoke up beside him. Her voice was so sweet, but she sounded almost desperate to match her choice in wording. There was also something oddly familiar about her that Luke was unable to place. “Uh, no, I’m sorry. I haven’t really had a lot of luck in that department either… have you tried here? I’m familiar with the owner and he might be the type to figure out something?” He offered. He wasn’t certain on that fact, but it was better than an outright ‘No’ to her question.

Eleanor hadn’t really expected anything from the stranger, her question had been a strange one to begin with. He owed her nothing and he didn’t know her. Not many people would vouch for a complete stranger. “Yeah, I figured. It was worth a shot,” the blonde said with a quiet chuckle before taking a too big sip of her beer. “I have, he said he’d get back to me. In his defense, I don’t have a resume or... an identity really.” Whoever had brought her back from the dead really hadn’t thought things through. She turned her head slightly to get a better look at the man, his features familiar in a way she couldn’t quite put her finger on. “I’m Eleanor. Please call me Len, though.”

Noah had hoped to come to mystic falls to get some help from the Salvatore boarding school and get someone who was able to help with his unrelenting anger. Despite the hopes, it was soon that noah found there was no real way to simply supress the anger issues he was having. He sat at the bar spping on a beer before downing a shot of bourbon and ordering another. “I can’t believe this stupid town still couldn’t help me… so much for mystic falls being full of supernatural and help…” he sighed.

After a long, grueling day of looking for her family, Len had ended up at the bar with a newfound hopelessness and a large glass of gin. What was the point of being back from the dead if none of her family was around? If she had nowhere to go? The man sitting next to her seemed to also be dealing with a pretty shitty day, which made her feel slightly less alone. “I guess I’m not the only person drinking their sorrows, huh?”

    “ I am to assume you are one who have been brought back from the dead ?” Lyanna bluntly asked her . “ Unfortunately for you I know none with those names or any parkers … “

“I guess I have been,” Len said, her statement sounding more like a question than she would’ve liked. Her memories were hazy at best. She vaguely remembered that night when Malachai had completely lost it, but after losing consciousness... Just black. “Right, of course. It’s just that... I’m not really sure where to go.”

    So the dead have all been brought back . It didn’t really change anything to her . It was a powerful witch yes , yet she knew no matter how powerful her curse couldn’t be broken just by any powerful witch . Shame really . Still she used her time to help others just because she could and she can . She saw another pacing back and forth and couldn’t help herself . “ Are you lost ?” She wondered . “ Do you need any help ?”

“Yes to both questions.” Len was in fact lost and desperately in need of help. Had that whole night with Kai been a nightmare? If so, how had she gotten here? The world didn’t seem all that different from what she remembered, but there were definitely a few notable differences. Technology seemed more advance, for one. The cars she’d seem so far looked noting like the ones she remembered. “I’m looking for Joshua Parker. Or Josette Parker. Any Parker, really, I’m not picky.”

elizabeth lail? no, that’s just eleanor ‘len’ parker you know, the twenty year old witch. who’s been known to be hardworking but fearful. they’ve also been called the fallen angel for those exact reasons. i heard that they were one of the fallen who was brought back; but who knows how long that will last once everyone finds out that they are traumatized over kai murdering her.
