“I have plenty of clothes, Len. I don’t need anything.”

“If they’re the same as what you’re wearing right now, you do need something,” Len replied, holding some more things up to Connor.

“I guess not,” said Hannah, still examining herself in the mirror.

“I mean I’m sure you get it with playing Quidditch and shit.”

“Okay, that makes more sense.” Sierra laughed. “What are the costumes for?”

“They’re prototypes to send out to production and my bosses,” she replied.

“Len, what does that even mean?”

“Sew, I meant sew,” Len replied and put her head down. “As you can tell, I need more sleep.”

Hannah looked at what had been picked out. She had to admit the woman had good taste. “Okay. Be right back.” She found the nearest dressing room. A few minutes later, she came out wearing the items. She looked in a mirror on the wall. “Wow! You certainly know your stuff.”

“You don’t read fashion magazines your whole life to grow up and know nothing.”

“Oh, not at all. Good right ahead.” Hannah was curious as to what the other woman would pick out for her.

Len analyzed her for a moment, looking at her style, her height, her build. She then walked around picking out a few things. “Here try these on, see how they feel.”

“I’m just checking the place out. It’s my first time in here.”

Len walked out from behind the counter, analyzing the girl’s style. “Do you mind if I picked some things out for you?” she asked. Len was always very good at matching outfits to people perfectly.

Odessa smiled at Len, nodding, “We did meet him. It was… honestly, it didn’t go as planned at all. Not that you can really plan how that sort of thing will go. But he wasn’t excited or anything, it was- it was a mess. He’s sixteen, and right now we’re just fostering him. I mean, we could adopt, that’s a possibility, or he could just stay with us until he’s eighteen. Hell, he could even wind up with another family between now and then. Not that I want that for him, because I don’t. I’m just saying it’s one of the many possibilities.”

“Is he just not excited to be in another foster home, or is it that he doesn’t want to be fostered period?” Len questioned. “Also, why did they give you a sixteen year old, why not a baby. No offense to your new foster kid, but like we’re barely older than them.” Eleanor shrugged slightly. “I’m sure he’ll warm up to you. Do you have anything planned for the winter break?”
