The old place ;Sirius&Lennox
âEvery man for himself it seems.â Sirius shook his head. âThatâs why weâre here, to protect everyone not just ourselves.â He smiled slightly, he liked being a part of the Order even though he knew he wasnât very experienced with things like this, but he picked up on things a lot quicker than anyone expected him to and excelled in whatever he thrown in to.Â
âWeâre going to win this, and Iâm going to make sure we do.â He added a determined nod then finished off the glass of wine he had been holding, having lost track of how many he had drank by now so he was a little unsteady on the spot where he was standing.
âItâs how it should be,â Lennox agreed, though his voice was lighter like it was a thought rather than a statement. Everything was so complicated except in the realm of what should be done, what needed to be done. To survive, to win, they had to protect everyone they could.
He turned his gaze over to Sirius when he spoke again. He could tell he was swaying a bit from the alcohol, but he imagined he needed to not feel anything for a little while, but heâd still worry. âIâll make sure too. No one can do this alone.â
