But there are scratch and sniffs that are printed on paper! I’ve never tasted them because they don’t smell really really good but it could taste better than it smells. Raspberries need a shave! They’re hairy and silly but they taste okay. I could be a vampire for them but I won’t promise anything. My day job will be a chocolate vampire and I can do strawberries and raspberries on the side. Yay for super friends! That means more chocolate Shadow! I don’t want purge or winter. Can we send them far away? 

Does it taste like strawberries? Because if it tastes like strawberries it’s strawberry blood. Shadow, I think I’m a vampire with strawberries because every time I have one I bite into it and go vampire. I don’t like garlic either. I love chocolates! Did you get a lot of chocolates? Ew kisses..  Shadow, if you’re a Wolfe and I’m a vampire are we still friends? I don’t want a purge winter between us!

Red? Is it written in blood? Because it’s Violent Times Day and when things are red it has to be blood because that’s what happens when it gets violent. Hugs are good! I will give you a hug next time, Shadow. What does Violent Times do in today times? I heard winter is coming, too! I don’t get it because I was told winter was already here, but the television was super clear about winter coming and not here here. Purge day is different because it doesn’t come on at different time zones. Winter comes at night.

Hi Shadow! I still don’t get it but I like chocolate. Are there moneys in the cards? If it’s Violent Times Day do people have violent love? I can choke people with hugs. There’s a day with bad guys! It was all over the television. It said it was coming soon and that was a long time ago so it must be coming sooner. It could be here now. It’s not a good thing. I don’t like purge days.

Ter-yak-ee. It’s close to that! There’s no yucky. It’s yummy! [Finishing up her work, she takes a small rubber band and caps one of Shadow’s new braids with it.] Thanks! There’s one! I don't want any aliens on me! Alien germs are the worst. They're really alien... Eish. Shadow should come on our ship! It'll be great. I wish a buffet would show up so you could see all the ship stuff, but I have some candy you can have some. A buffet has everything you want and some things you didn't know you wanted, but they're there, too, and it tastes good. I like terry-ahk-ee sticks. I guess you could play swords with them. [Shrugging, she takes bits of Shadow's hair, braiding what she can from the hair that's much shorter than her own.] I don't know. I pick what looks best first! You're supposed to go around the middle strand, but it's always changing because you're moving the others, and then the left one becomes the middle and it keeps going and going until you're all done.

[Lenka looks down at her stomach for a moment, and then returns to Shadow's face.] I would look like a planet. I've been on ships before! Have you gone on a ship before? It's fun! One had a buffet, and it was really fancy. I don't know why people can't not do bad things without hearing about it before! [Beaming, her fingers start picking at the other's hair, working at it to braid.] Thanks! You can do mine after I do yours. It's not hard. You take one little piece, and then another little piece, and you make them hug, and then it's braided!

Yummy! I'm hungry! I could eat a boat! And not a lifeboat. A big boat. A yacht. There's a lot of war in history. Pirate history is the best! There's adventure and treasure and swords! I don't know why we have to learn other history. It all happened. I can't change how boring and stupid it was. Braiding is cute, Shadow! You take bits of your hair and you go around and around and it looks really really pretty. Let me do it.
