5 : favourite song in your native language?

Mano Solo - Là-bas . Well, If you had told me years ago that my favorite song was going to be a love song (a sad one, tho) I would probably had made fun of you. But here we are! Mano Solo was one of my favorite French singer. He had a way with words. I mean, to me, this is simply the best written French song ever. If you love how he sings, go listen to everything he did. He was a great artist. 

11 : favourite native writer/poet?

Ouch, that’s hard. I think I can’t only name one, because the styles are so different.My favorite poet is definitely Charles Baudelaire (Enivrez-vous is my absolute poem). But I do like different authors. First Emile Zola, because his books are so interesting (he wrote a lot about human nature and human madness) but the book I loved the most was written by Jean-Philippe Jaworski. It’s a historical/fantasy book called Gagner la Guerre.

14 : do you enjoy your country’s cinema and/or TV?

YES. OF COURSE. I love films d’auteur (I checked it’s translated by arthouse films) so the French cinema is amazing for that. Go see Blue is the warmest color, 120 BPM, In the house, Saint-Laurent and so many others...However I don’t like French TV at all. There’s always someone to remind me how racist and close-minded France can still be. 

21 : if you could send two things from your country into space, what would they be?

Well, I guess food..? I have no idea, that’s a hard question. And I don’t want to pollute space so I wouldn’t send anything in the first place ahah

27 : favourite national celebrity?

Oh god it took me forever to answer this. I am SO sorry.

8: Talk about the thing you are most proud of.I went through studies called “prépa” (or CPGE) in France. They are extremely complicated and stressful studies, which take two or three year and end up (hopefully) with the students joining a engineering school. These two years were the hardest and the most horrible of my life so far. I gained 10kg, was so stressed out I actually feared for my health, and totally lost confidence in myself. But after the competitive exams, I was able to join a school. I’m fuck*ng proud of myself because I thought about giving up so many times I wasn’t sure I could finish it. But I did, and even though I’m still finding my feet I’m happier than I’ve been for the last two years. 

20: Talk about something that happened in high school.

I’ve known I’m bi for a very long time (probably when I was 12/13). And yet I rarely had crushes on girls (and I have crushes all the time. It’s just something I’m used to.). And then, when I was in high school, I met and became friend with this girl, who I found so cool (she told me recently she found me cool too, back then). And she became my crush number one, for something like 4 years. She did friend zone me though. But, unfortunately, I’m used to that, too.
