cherry-flavoured lip gloss: saeko x reader | words: 294
The contents of Saeko’s purse were strewn about the backseat of the taxi, and you were sure you had seen at least a tampon and a packet of gum roll onto the floor. She still held the upended bag aloft and gave it another vigorous shake.
“Ugh!” She groaned. “I can’t find it!”
Your drunk mind was very much considering leaving the mess to her to clean up. “I don’t see how you thought dumping all your shit out onto the seats was going to help.” You pouted, reluctantly joining her in grabbing fistfuls of miscellaneous crap and putting them back in the bag. “Besides,” you drawled, “Glossy lips are not gonna hide the state you’re in.”
She shot you a playful look. “I’m not in a state; I’m roguishly boisterous from the evening’s merriment.”
“Oh, uh-huh, yeah, sure.”
“You could stand to look a little messier.” She tipped towards you as far as the seatbelt would allow. “You hardly look like you’ve had fun.”
“I have had fun! I’m just able to keep my bearings better. Case-in-point,” you produced your own lip gloss from your purse, “I’ve managed to hold onto this.”
You made a point of smugly reapplying the substance to your lips, a little more liberally than you intended. When you looked back at Saeko she was staring at you intensely. You caved. “Want to borrow some of mine?” Your voice came out kinda hoarse.
“Uh-huh.” Saeko shuffled in closer, and you held the lip gloss out to her. But she didn’t take it. Instead, she took your face in her hands and kissed you messily. When she was done she leaned back to survey her work as you sat there, stunned. She smirked.
“Now you look like you’ve had fun.”
