Just to clarify! The problem is not exactly that I need money! My partner does have some PTO. The bank may force us to transfer the loan to a different bank so they don't have to deal with us [apparently deadbeats!] anymore. The problem is that I'm fucked until MONDAY because everything is closed; so I have to just stew and spiral in not being able to make any headway on something that's huge issue AND pay extra to the impound lot because of when they chose to fuck us over. It ruins the little bit of time I should be able to actually relax and sleep after after being fucked with all week. I can't write if I'm so angry that I can't see straight and my head feels like I got hit with a hammer. I'm so fucking stressed out that I can't focus and it's MISERABLE. And I don't even get the small relief of nice people commenting because I can't do my usual updates for the weekend. And that make me feel useless and guilty for disappointing everyone too!!!

Basically my partner started paying our car loan with money orders because it was taking almost two weeks for them to actually process a check payment. But she also didn't know to keep the stub of the money order in case it was lost. So almost $700 has just gone SOMEPLACE. The bank we had the loan with merged with another one and changed names so they should have been able to cash the money order even though it was to the old bank's name. And the address it was sent too never changed. They didn't have a current number for me, but they had my right email, my home address and Lie's email and phone number and we had NO WARNING WHATSOEVER that things had gone overdue and we have no way to prove that the money was sent. Now they're saying that they can't do anything for us until Monday when the office to discuss such things is open again. Which means that no matter what they decide; we have to pay for the towing fees and at least two days of our car being in their yard. Which is why they stole it on a Friday night I'm sure. So Lie can't get to her Saturday or Sunday work shifts and will probably have to call out Monday as well. This is on top of the absolute week from hell that I was already enduring. On Wed night I got pulled over by some asshole cop who was visibly disappointed that I was the one driving instead of Lie. He was all geared up to arrest her for driving with a suspended license. Something we also received NO NOTICE ABOUT. She got a ticket from one of those camera stoplights in a different town and it was never mailed to us. TWO YEARS AGO. Apparently it was sent to collections and she was suspended. She spent an entire day calling different county offices first trying to find why she was suspended and where and when the citation was issued. Then again to try and find out how much it was for, and then again to find out who she had to pay to get it removed. But she has to go to the damn barn every morning to help her teacher who is too old to muck horse stalls. So I had to get up at 6:30am to drive her there, try to get a nap in the car for about an hour and a half, drive home, pack my lunch, drive the two hours to work, eight hour shift, two hours drive home, get less then six hours of sleep, get up the next day and DO THE SAME SHIT AGAIN because the punishment for driving suspended is arrest, mandatory court appointment, minimum 10 days in jail and a fine of up to $5000. Plus it would be more severe because the cop had me on body cam that night saying I would tell her. Thus it would be premeditated law-breaking rather then her not knowing she was suspended. Then I had to pay the fine $217 and wait 24 hours to find out if she was free to drive again. Which worked out to 2pm on a Friday afternoon when the offices all close at 5pm. So I did all that crap, was up for an excess of 20 hours, lost my debit card to a malfunctioning gas pump and had to cancel it, slept for maybe six hours and then got woken up by Lie telling me she couldn't leave for work because sometime between 1:30 am and 4:30 am they fucking REPOSSESSED OUR CAR.

ah jeez doc, im hoping things start looking up for you!! that all really sucks! i hope the legal issues get settled asap, and things smooth over with your partner sooner rather than later, you take as much time to get back on your track as needed!

THIS IS GREAT. That was a scene I loved writing. I was giggling to myself the whole time. Solar is just so free of the inhibitions that bind his normal eclipse brethren. And Moon just has to grin and bear it. Thank gods it's new moon that he was interested in, because the original is incapable of not saying judgy shit that hurts peoples feelings. Eclipse's SMUG FACE is PERFECT. And you can sense Sun rolling his eyes at it.
