I got inspired by the May I have this final thing English dub and wanted to show Chess personality a bit.

I felt Shadow and Sonic were the perfect victims. Also no she's not paired with either hedgehog I just wanted to torture them a bit XD

Also some outfit explorations as I wanted to explore Chess in different colors and develop her fashion sense, as in the original designs I leaned into the rose aesthetic more and it didn't fit.

Her backstory is still in the works but here's my newest sonic oc Chess.

Yeah she sort of hit me while I was doodling. I wanted to make an oc that had a chess and Rose aesthetic and I fell in love with her.

Basically she's a Tenic and the calm, reserved leader to her two optimistic and energetic teammates, Clock and Key. Growing up being the Angelica of the group, Chess always made sure her two younger sisters were safe.

Besides leading her sisters on adventures she also likes to race and has a custom board that can be used as a shield. She summons her weapons with the little chess pieces she has on her charm bracelet.

With her main being the hammer knight that she's holding. (I imagine her zooming up behind an enemy on her board aiming for the enemies, or Jets, head).

Besides that we have:

Bishop Shield/ board

Rook Crossbow

King Mace/whip

Queen potions: Purple is healing, Green is energy, red is strength, and Yellow is focus.

That’s me with my Reaper high girls as I had a concept in mind for there story (outside of reaper high) where they basically work for a fairy to stop sorcerers.

Then I remembered this old character concept I had about a Cinderella Frankenstein and her “evil” stepsister running away along where they remained themselves after the aesthetic or theme of there weapon (

) and example I did for a sonic oc I haven’t posted on tumblr yet.

And I’ve always liked the idea of combining classic monsters with fairytales so I said f it and combined all three.

So here’s the new idea. A group of girls who have taken up the last name the Van Grims, now work for a fairy council to stop a various evil groups from causing harm and trying to take over the world.

The combinations are simple: Cinderella and Frankenstein: -> Clover (Cinderella/ the monster/ Frankenstein ) and Charm/Kaja (the “evil” stepsister)

Beauty and the beast and Dr. Jekyll and Mister Hyde: Cross, formerly Anise. Has a cursed sword that holds the beast/ mister Hyde (no the beast is not cross love interest)

Rumplestilsken and the invisible man: Bee. The miller daughter who tricked a fairy into giving her the chemical reaction to turn straw into gold and herself invisible to escape.

Swan lake and banshees: Crest formerly Elara, a swan maiden that was tricked into an arranged marriage and with her swan coat was trapped on a lake. Was rescued by the girls with a ghost medallion giving her ghostly/ telepathic and a sonic scream abilities.
