We have Danfin Dans the first half-foot lawyer in history hes been at his law firm for about a year now that's when he meets hes newest client Emleen Blairs Young mother charged with Drug dealing while Danfins representing her Hes also has to take care of her infant daughter Beitris + his other work load.

Danfin eventually starts catching feelings for his client & finds out he's pretty good at being a dad. Now he's more determined to get Emleen out

Emleen spends 2 yrs in jail and danfin works around the clock to get her put. Once released they got married

#Actually though I imagine it’s a very different sign language #I was thinking it would be interesting if Dwarfs have a higher incidence of deafness than the other races (congenital and environmental)#so the ASL equivalent would be “Dwarf-sign”#And since Chilchuck 1. Has worked as a translator (but doesn’t read ancient/elvish) 2. Lives in a Dwarf-majority area #It makes sense to me that he’d know at least some of it #for ease of drawing and translation however Dwarf-sign can just be ASL exactly 😂
