Hello everyone,

It’s time! Here is the sign-up sheet for the 2020 Kylux Big Bang!

This year we’re doing a regular bang where writers submit the prompts and artists bid on them. Please see the rules and FAQ on the blog for more information!

You can choose to participate in the Mini Bang (5-15k words/2 pieces of art) or the Big Bang (15k+ words/4 pieces of art). If you’re not sure which you want to sign-up for, or don’t have a preference, we have an ‘Either’ option. There are typically more writers than artists, so we may ask artists if they are willing to work on multiple projects, with authors limited to one project.

You may sign-up as both a writer and an artist. Pinch hitter sign-ups are included on the sheet so you may sign-up as only a pinch hitter if you wish to. Don’t know if you want to sign-up as a pinch hitter right now? No problem, we’ll likely hold extra sign-ups later in the project.

The sign-up sheet is to help us gauge numbers for planning purposes. If you are unsure yet about being able to participate, but think you might like to, sign up anyway!

Sign-ups will be open until May 31 at 10 PM EST.

We’ve included some of our most common questions below.

What’s a pinch hitter? Someone who can write or draw in a short period of time who doesn’t mind stepping in if someone needs to drop out. The sign-up sheet will include a question about whether you’re willing to pinch hit or not!

Are AUs/Kylux Adjacents allowed?

We accept any genre of story/art, the one rule is that it has to be Kylux or Kylux adjacent. We do request that you keep in mind tags when submitting your prompts and if using an adjacent pairing clearly state which pairing it is.

What do you mean by name?

This can be your username, pen name or any name that you would prefer to be referred to by in emails from the mods.
