Thatās good to hear. Iām glad itās going well over all. Itās funny that she has stuck with working with you this long because when she broke her leg years ago, she sent the physical therapists running. Itās like you get her.
I guess I do. And Iām not scared of her, I guess.

royal-amberlā:
That is very true. She is possibly the most stubborn of the bunch, so to make her listen to you is a big deal. How has her therapy been going, by the way?
Yes it is. --Itās going. Mostly good. But there are bad days, of course. Which is normal.

I agree. Very lucky. I think itās going to be most interesting to see who Tristan ends up with. She has such a big personality, but of course, you know that.Ā
--Yes, definitely. A very big personality. Not many could handle her, I think, but itāll be very much worth it in the end for whoever does manage to get through to her.

Well, thereās a Conroy for every type one can have.Ā
Thank you, Leila. Youāve really been a lifesaver. In more ways than the obvious one that doctors are.
--Thereās so many of them, youāre probably right! Lucky people who end up with one of them.Ā
Youāre welcome, Amber.Ā

I keep blaming it on their dadās genes. They were doomed to be adorable, haha. I am - I donāt think Iām going to be able to do anything without having someone checking on me for a while. I have just mostly been watching Will take care of them, dancing around while holding them and singing.Ā
Heās not really my type, but heās aesthetically pleasing to the eye, absolutely. And youāre drop dead gorgeous, so they had no chance at all to be regular looking babies. --Well, you have my number if you need anything. And it sounds like heās one of the good ones. Take advantage of being on strict doctors orders to get plenty of rest.Ā

Like my vagina has been ripped apart and stitched back together, but other than that, Iām good.
I can only imagine. I do not envy you at all. --Well, maybe a little. They are insanely cute babies. But Iām glad to hear everythingās good. Make sure youāre getting plenty of rest. Doctorās orders.

but, let me introduce the newest members of the Conroy clan:
Isla Adrienne Conroy - 5lbs and 8 inches, born on July 16th at 3:06 am
and
Jamie Ashton Conroy - 4lbs and 7inches, born on July 16th at 3:15 am.
I am exhausted.
Itās amazing how fast they grow-- I swear theyāve gotten bigger since I last checked on them. --How are you feeling, besides exhausted?Ā
royal-amberlā:
Leila, youāre my favorite person in the world. I will have to tell him that because Iām not looking forward to any heat, at least I should have them out by August which tends to be the worst month. And I love ice cream being doctorās orders. The morning sickness has finally subsided, finally. So I can stomach food again.
--Iām sure thatās not true, but I appreciate the sentiment all the same.Ā
Most women carrying twins donāt usually make the full forty weeks, so we should definitely have them out before August. Yes, those are my strict doctorās orders-- I expect you to follow those orders diligently! Iām very happy to hear that-- now you get to enjoy cravings!

Those ghost hunters that argue all the time. The tall geeky guy is the skeptic and the short one that freaks out at every little noise. They havenāt had any episodes in months. I can almost quote their other episodes. I love them. Iām sure youāre actually tired of me talking about them.
Oh, right-- I knew that.Ā
Theyāre the ones who have a supernatural segment, and a true crime segment, right? --Iām not tired of hearing about them, Iām glad you have something you enjoy and look forward to.Ā

I already miss what my feet look like and every day I waddle more and more. Iām not looking forward to the heat with these babies cooking inside me.
Waddling is perfectly normal-- you are carrying extra weight your body isnāt used to. And during the summer, weāll just have to keep you cool-- Iād suggest telling Prince William to set up one of those portable air coolers that you can set up right wherever youāre sitting or laying down or whatever. And ice cream, eat tons of ice cream.Ā
royal-triscā:
Is it the 22nd yet? I need new shows to watch! Iāve watched just about everything on Netflix and YouTube that I can even tolerate. And I miss Ryan and Shane bickering. I can quote just about every episode thus far.
Whoāre Ryan and Shane, again? I feel like youāve mentioned them before, but Iām blanking.Ā
royal-amberlā:
If I stay away from any smells whatsoever, Iām okay. Everything makes me sick, though. Onions, garlic, cologne. Just talking about food⦠I think I have a reason to be worried. These Conroys are so charming and Will is already talking to them every chance he gets. Theyāre going to come out and bypass me, and go running right for him, umbilical cord and all! āHow are you doing, Dr. Buchanan?
Itāll pass, you just have to take it day by day. Try drinking ginger ale. I hear crackers also work. --Theyāre very charming, Iāve noticed. But you do have one up on him; youāre carrying them for the next few months, so youāll have a natural bond with them. Iām fine, thank you. But please, call me Leila.Ā
royal-triscā:
Tristan had been doing her physical therapy with Leila religiously and as much as she hated to admit it, she actually didnāt dislike it. Of course that was mostly because she enjoyed spending time with the young doctor. Part of Tristan believed the actual therapy was just a waste of time. It was two and a half months later, and she still couldnāt stand without holding herself up. She still couldnāt move her legs without help from her arms. It seemed like she was truly paralyzed and was going to be bound to a wheelchair for the rest of her life. As much as she hated the idea, she wasnāt as angry with it as she once was. She couldnāt be upset, it only brought her family down and if she never walked again, at least she wouldnāt be responsible for causing her siblings heartache anymore.
3:00pm marked another appointment with Leila. Tristan pulled her wheelchair close to her bed and scooted her butt to the edge, dragging her torso into the chair. With a grunt, she pulled her dead weight legs and placed her feet on the foot pedals. She gave herself a moment to catch her breath before wheeling herself down the hallway. They were going to need to put some kind of ramp in the house if she wasnāt going to get better. She hated having to rely on her siblings whenever she wanted something on another level.Ā
She pushed a door open leading her to her the room she would do her therapy in.Ā āSorry, it took me a minute to get out of the bed,ā she told Leila with a hint of annoyance in her tone.Ā āCan we take the day off from this? I donāt think one day off is going to harm anything. Not like itās going to make them not work ā theyāre already doing that.ā She rolled her eyes and smacked her legs.Ā
@leilabuchanan
When three oāclock rolled around, Leila Buchanan pushed aside the paperwork she was working on and got up from her desk, quickly hanging up her coat and trading her high heels for a pair of tennis shoes. She pulled her hair up, preparing for the next couple of hours sheād be spending with her patient, Tristan Conroy. Despite the princessā frequent ornery attitude, the last couple of months hadnāt been awful. Leila enjoyed the challenge, even if sometimes it was a bit discouraging to not see immediate results, but she and Tristan both needed to remember that it was going to take time for Tristan to gain feeling in her legs again.Ā
She made her way from the castle hospital wing to the gymnasium, where theyād set up a station specifically for Tristanās needs. Leila began stretching as she waited for Tristan show up, which took a few minutes-- when the princess did finally show up, she let her arms fall to her sides, giving Tristan a smile.Ā āItās fine. I figured something was holding you up. Plus, hiding from me wouldnāt be very smart, since I do know where you live.ā She blinked in surprise at Tristanās request, and frowned.Ā āWell, thatās true, but we donāt know if just one day of a break could alter the progress we mightāve made already,ā she replied carefully, not wanting to upset Tristan. Part of her wanted to give in to Tristanās request, but another part of her, the professional part, was a little harder to convince.Ā
royal-amberlā:
Okay, the morning sickness part can go away. Seriously, if I never throw up again, Iāll be so happy! ONE of these babies better like me better than their dad.Ā
Unfortunately thereās not much I can do for the morning sickness, itās a perfectly normal effect of pregnancy. If it gets too bad though, I can always prescribe you something. Some women rely on at home remedies though, so Iād rather not do that unless itās really serious. --Anyway, Iām sure both babies are going to adore you just as much as their father.Ā

They have done it my entire life, itās just more annoying to me now that I am already on edge. Regardless, I donāt care to deal with anyone extra.Ā
Yeah⦠That gets really annoying, too. Maybe thatās why I never really cared for the princess movies. I wonder if there will ever be a movie where the princess isnāt interested in the prince.
I canāt imagine how annoying it must be. So I donāt blame you, really.
Well, I heard the Frozen sequel is supposed to give Elsa a girlfriend, but Iāll believe that when I see it. Oh, thereās Moana. Sheās a princess and didnāt have a love interest at all. Thereās also Merida, from Brave. She really wasnāt interested in any of the fools who were vying for her hand in marriage.
royal-triscā:
Thatās how doctors should be. You should teach other doctors. āTreating me differently. I hate that. When itās not some formal thing where itās expected, just call me Tristan not Her Majesty. Or like now, I have to deal with the pity people send my way. I hate that.
Iāll have to watch it. āYes, true love gets really annoying. At least the same kind of true love. There can be so many different forms of it.
Some doctors are pretty set in their ways, unfortunately. --Most people donāt know how to act around people whoāve experienced loss, I think. On top of that, youāre royal, untouchable to people, so it makes for some awkwardness, I think.Ā
I agree. But watching a girl get saved by a guy, thatās what gets boring.
