          IT WAS A GOOD POINT, HE DIDNT KNOW WHO SHE WAS. Where as she already knew enough about him…at least some of it. So far he seemed friendly enough…a little old, and with a bad taste in friends( the bird was obviously not a bird ). But who was she to judge someone by the dark and dismal clothes they decided to wear? Or the critters they wanted to surround themselves with??? 

“ I’m Zoe! ” she exclaims. “ The aspect of twilight— though that does remind me I’m suppose to tell you…well not you specifically– but EVERYONE that things are gonna change! ” already her mood shifts, and she lets out a drawn sigh. “ But that can wait. We were talking about games first! What kinds of games do you like? ”

Beatrice’s chittering increases in Jericho’s mind before he bats them away. He can hardly think with her complaining. The “child”--or whatever she is--is here to stay for now. 

“Oh?” Jericho asks, watching her roam the room. What things are going to change? It would be troublesome for such things to interfere with his plans. 

          SHE PEEKS FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF HIS WAR TABLE. Just barely enough to see both eyes, wide with intrigue. “ WOW you’re good. Though I probably should disqualify you because of the bird. ” snickering follows, and the girl pulls herself up, lingering in the air as if she was underwater. Behind her trailed long hair, shimmering with orange and pink hues, speckled by stars from the midnight sky. “ — But I’m definitely not a sore loser, so I wont do that and just consider your partner a player too. ” 

After a moment of silence, she perks up. “ Big ol’ map you got here. ” rolling over midair, to lean against the palm of her hand. The other poking at the frayed edges, as her eyes scanned all the little figures placed carefully across it. “ Whatch’a doin with it? ”

The violent interruption of color against the stark backdrop of his war room is...unwelcome. His eyes narrow as an apparent child drifted through the air, otherworldly hair sparkling and shimmering behind her. On his shoulder, Beatrice ruffles her feathers and voices her displeasure in his head. Yes, yes, understood. 

Jericho looks up and pauses as Beatrice squawks her discontent. There is something at the edges of their senses, rattling the edge of reality. 

          SHE COULDN’T HELP BUT SQUEAK AND GIGGLE AS WOLF NEARED. Bouncing up and down till he was within reach, before quickly running both hands through the smoke and dark fur. “ How could anyone NOT!? Look at your ears! And your nose!! You’re probably the most cutest puppy I’ve ever seen!!! ” scratching and rubbing along the side of his head, until she found a good spot just beneath his jaw. 

How the girl found death itself so enjoyable was beyond the mortal mind.

“ And don’t you worry lamb! I think you’re pretty darn cute too!! ” beaming brightly at them, with a big smile. Finally, a moment of silence, as she took the chance to bury her face in the fur, her laugh muffled slightly. Despite any smell or chill, she does this till she’s satisfied, before leaning back to continue rubbing behind wolf’s ears. “ Like a big puffy cloud!!! ”

Despite not being a dog, Wolf pants and shakes his body excitedly as Zoe gives Wolf scratches. His mouth is wide and panting, saliva dripping past his black teeth and hissing as it touches the ground. Is the Kindred corporeal by its own choice or is it simply solid because the Aspect wills it so? It is unclear. How can a being begin to explain touching Death? 

Lamb does not return the embrace, but neither does she reject it. She accepts the hug without a sound before she is let go and allowed to stand on the dead body’s chest. 

        “ OH MY GOD, WHAT A CUTE DOGGY!!! ” SHE EXCLAIMS. Floating in the air, with both hands held close to her chest. The kindred stood over their latest mark, a corpse that lay seemingly invisible to the aspect. Around her the air waited with anticipation, for the girl to yet again tear it apart and dive between worlds. “ Can I pet him? – Please please please let me pet him! I love dogs so much! —- PLEASE!!! ”

“HAHAHAHA, YES, I AM ADORABLE, IT IS TRUE!!!” Wolf opens up his infinite maw to the sky and cackles with the same exuberance as the aspect. Gleefully, he bobs and weaves through the body. Meanwhile, apparently unfazed by the interruption or noise, Lamb strikes the body’s forehead with an arrow. 

“Aspect of Twilight,” Lamb says more as a statement rather than a greeting.
