Reason: energy source found underground with negative associations(often painful death, toxicity, etc), also I think it could look cool

Small details for the aesthetic: songs in the underworld having a Geiger counter in the background, all the workers looking sickly(using makeup, more sickly the longer they've worked there), (safe) glow-in-the-dark set accents and accessories on Hades's outfit, Persephone's underworld outfit, the fates, and worker uniforms
