The chubby echidna was brought into Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary in Hobart, Tasmania, for medical treatment after being clipped by a vehicle.

The situation could have been dire, but Eleanor’s glorious fatness got in the way – the chonky lady escaped the ordeal with only minor bruising.

An approval poll for a politician you have never heard of with kind eyes but a head tilt that feels slightly off, as if they had wings hidden behind their back and a prehensile tail just off camera they are trying to hide. You realize the kindness of those eyes is genuine to those of your ilk, the shadowy and the broken and the outcast, those needing the support of the mighty and they fey. An approval poll for someone who is going to tear the system apart and rebuild it in a kinder fashion.

Moss! Near!! You!!! Right now. It is creeping ever closer. Soon it will be in your home, soon it will be your home, because you will escape the boundaries and responsibilities that no longer serve.
