When are we gonna end this stigma of mental health? I'm not ashamed to say I've struggled with depression, anxiety, and post natal depression during my 34 years. It came close to ruining my life on many occasions. I was lucky to have my family to support me, but I hate to think of where I'd be if I didn't have them around, because there were some people in my life that would make me feel bad for how I was feeling. There were some people who didn't understand or even try to. We need to take mental health as seriously as we do physical health. Just because people don't understand, doesn't give them the right to be ignorant. It affects us all, our communities, our friends, families, our children. We need to be kinder.
