prosper: dashen 1878 (Hebrew) anointed, made fat, sated; it gathers the ideas of rich fatness, luxuriant fertility, and fullness of soul, but warns that God's blessings, if unaccompanied by gratitude, becomes the seedbed of apostasy. Divine favor which brings true "fatness," superabundance that overflows to others, belongs not to the self-indulgent but to those who live by generosity, diligence, faith, and edifying speech.

refresh: ravah 7301 (Hebrews) fill, satisfy, slake thirst, drench, soak; a movement from lack to abundance, with the idea of thorough permeation. God encourages His people to express His nature of personal faithfulness and self-giving generosity by meeting the needs of others through the resources we receive from Him.
