“Ma'am, we have arrived” the cab driver said waking ______ up.

“Oh right, thank you, keep the change” she says paying the man.

______ stumbles a bit in her drunken state as she gets off the cab. She closes the door and the car drives away as she walks over to her apartment building. Digging through her purse she realizes her keys are missing.

‘You have got to be kidding me’ she thinks to herself. Without her keys she can’t open the gate, much less her apartment.

She takes out her phone and looks at the time, nearly four in the morning. Hyolyn has been asleep for hours by now. There’s no way she’ll hear the buzzer.

She presses down the button and waits for a response. She does this three times but no answer comes.

“Pick up your stupid phone Hyolyn” ______ grumbles as she leans her head against the bars of the gate.

Hyolyn doesn’t pick up.
