obviously not the result we wanted, but i refuse to doom. we lost this race on bad strategy (*sigh*) and some bad luck, not on pure pace. merc are not uncatchable, they’re not driving off into the sunset, and they’re certainly not runaway favorites on race pace alone. we take the chodium and we move. all i’ve ever wanted is for ferrari to build a car that gives charles a chance, and nothing i’ve seen so far says they haven’t. it’s the hope that kills you, but also, what is sport about if not the hope
