My transgender kid has almost finished his high school finals. When just 3 years ago we weren’t sure if he’d make it to today alive.

My cisgender kid spoke up in a class full of giggling narrow minded students about diversity and respect for the LGBTIQ+ community. She’s probably saved the life of the kid in that classroom who’s still tragically and terrifyingly still in the closet.
