The Life of a Leaf

Hey there! It's been a while so I thought I would catch you guys up. My braces have adjusted to my face a little better so I'm not focusing on that and Many's relationship with me hasn't changed at all. Today I entered freshmen year in high school and I was excited. I noticed that there is a stupid hierarchy between seniors and freshmen. The seniors believe that just because of their position they are a loud to threaten and annoy freshmen. Unlike others I don't agree so I just speak to everyone the same way regardless of grade. My homeroom was nice as we had 2 Teachers and I found out I arrived early to homeroom but I actually just had nothing to do as everyone was meeting their old friends in the foyer. I kind of just waited a while. After getting to know who was in my homeroom, I went to biology where it was very easy and I met a new girl named Kiki. Kiki was very sweet and we became friends right away. After break we agreed to meet in the cafateria for lunch. After my next class which was art I went down to the cafateria and it was like a war zone. So many people, confusion, and stares. It was funny. So I got some green tea and made my way right outside the cafateria. My body felt Super drained. After waiting a while I met my friends and went to English. In English I met a really nice (also) new girl named kace. She's kind but she gets discouraged easily. Her and I were planning to try out for the musical tomorrow but she backed out due to her mothers advice. It kind of pissed me that parents don't encourage their child's activities. Anyway after class I went to my last class, Spanish. In Spanish I met a couple nice juniors who asked me to join their music club after I asked them if they wanted to jam. It was very peaceful as a day and I'm happy. I feel like I was missing something but I don't know what. Thanks for reading and for the support! I'll catch up again soon.

Hi again. So yesterday was a good day. After waking up (really late) I was trying not to this about Many (Check out my last post for some context). I was getting ready when I learned I was going to see my beautiful niece. I’ve never met her because she’s my cousins child. I’m only 14 so I didn’t make it such a huge priority at first, but I learned that I should meet someone who’s going to see me in the future. Better it’s now when she’s in town then never! So my niece is 3 years old. I know, really YOUNG. So we decided to go to a kids art show for fun with all of the relatives who came to town. My niece’s father also had another child. He’s 4 months old and is SUPER cute. We went through the museum and because my niece was having a difficult time I stuck with her to help. When we finished the gallery my niece was sticking to me like poxy glue. She only went where I did. It was sweet but kind of confusing. Just because of that my mom ditched me and I went to a garden with her, her parents, and her brother. It got super weird but I ended up meeting a really talented pianist. We spoke a little and then my niece started crying. She was mad at her mother because her mother pretended to hide a cookie to teach my niece a lesson. It kind of just backfired and made the whole thing about us going back home in a taxi with 2 crying babies. I didn’t get to see many plants. When we arrived home I was so tired that I just entertained her as much as possible until she left and just chilled after that. I think because of this I was distracted from thinking about Many. It helped so much that I decided I would full-fill what I wanted to do for the last month. I wanted to do martial arts. So I did research and decided to learn Ninjutsu. I’m so excited to start! Maybe I’ll become a NINJA! I grew up watching Naruto so one of my dreams would be coming true. I also decided to enrol myself in a math tuition for 1 year so can skip some math classes and do AP math classes. I’ll check back in later. Thanks for listening!

So last week I visited this place in India called Ladakh. It’s very close to China and Pakistan. I was near a border of Pakistan in this photo. This was in a small village named Turtuk. It’s very interesting how 95% of Turtuk is actually in Pakistan. It’s a saying there that they “slept in Pakistan and awoke in India.” The village is so down to earth and innovative. Every person there was just a story waiting to be told. It was such a beautiful culture! This is most likely the best place I’ve ever been too. This makes a struggle feel like nothing. I encourage to you to step out of your comfort zone and try something new like a backpacking trip around a country, or just going to a new place in your town. Just trying a new restaurant could be a amazing experience. Go for it! EXPLORE!

Hi there, yesterday a lot happened! 3 days ago I got braces and they really hurt. They make me feel uncomfortable and self conscious too. It makes me feel really ugly. I don't care to much for my looks so it's a first for me. Today I kind of made my heart break. My good Friend, made a bet that if he got a Girlfriend I would win and if he didn't get a Girlfriend he would. The winner could order around the loser for one day. I'm going to call this guy Many. About a week ago he sent me a pic of him and his girlfriend. I didn't know what to feel. I had won but I didn't feel like I did. I never cried. Today he posted a lot of photos of him and his Girlfriend. I was in shock. I knew I didn't like him but I still felt like I dug my own pit and I just walked into it myself. I suddenly just burst and started to cry. I just kind of cracked. Sometimes I feel bad and don't want to tell anyone about it. I like to think I'm fearless but I know I can't always be. I'm just scared of being scared. I know that sounds weird but if you understand that would be great! Anyways on a higher note, a bunch of my cousins came to town and we met for dinner and some of them came for lunch but I didn't really talk much then. But we had dinner together and because of my braces I didn't eat much but they were going at the food. It was crazy!! I just had some soup and a couple dimsum bun things. Then when we were on our way home one of my cousins gave me $100 USD!! It's because about 3 years ago I made a bet that if he got married before my Sister he'd give me 10 dollars! I Guess he gave 10x the amount. Through this I learned that even if you're feeling horrible one thing can make you so much happier! I'm not happier because of the money, it's because something I did in the past made someone else think about me in the future! Thanks for reading this. I'll post again soon.
