Imagine this: We all had a reunion since its been about a year since this petty fandom became a thing

I still like leafy but i have no motivation to make edits because its not fun anymore since almost no ones here Idk just me rambling

tbh I think I’m a bit done with Tumblr in general, I spend most of my time crocheting and sitting in discord calls n making edits is demotivating cuz Its like I spent hours of my life making this for us all to enjoy, and it only gets like 20 notes? Was it even worth the time? crocheting is always rewarding cuz u get that doe and the final product.

lowkey a bit jealous of the cancer crew fandoms, they have the best edits and I wish i learned how to make edits by watching them rather than leafy vine edits.

Surprisingly enough this is my opinion!?!?

I’ve been seeing ppl talk about how leafy’s content is stale and boring now and no one cares about him any more. In my opinion this isnt the whole story.

His content is not only stale and boring with now, improved school shooter/drug dealer hair (and its not a joke anymore, he really looks shady n should cut it a little bit so that mom’s arent pulling their kids away when he passes by) His personalty at this point is stale as well, everything he does is expected and he uses the same hashed out jokes (His content is so shit i haven’t watched one in weeks so I watched one again today and two words…excruciating pain) He himself is boring as fuck. Its not only ‘he should make new content’ he should remake his entire image.

With him there is so much bad drama around his channel-h3h3 drama, keemstar drama, Idubbbz drama, Nick Cash drama, Elvis the Aliens drama, Herotic Drama, More keemstar drama, Adderall drama, HaileyBaby Drama, Moob drama, Pyrocynical drama even drama in his own fandom Jaz drama, Jordan drama and between his fans like fuck what hasn’t he been accused of doing and what part of his life is not toxic? I’m pretty sure I even forgot some, There’s so much bad karama around his channel, Most ppl only hear about some of this and don’t they won’t want to watch his shit. No one hears “LeafyIsHere” and thinks good things, even if your a fan, you think of all the shit surrounding the name.

My advice for him is to make a new channel n pimp it out on twitter n his current yt channel so his loyal followers will sub to the new one and do skits with Billy n shit, maybe some gaming videos, some commentaries- not roasting someone but about their actual content being shit, maybe some joke videos about cooking n legit advice, do a fan mail series, not opening it on camera but showing the shit off n see what ppl send you.

To put it simply: He should make a new channel to get rid of the same connotation as his current one. N make a new variety of content or at least rename his channel but still make a new variety of content. But of course he’d never take a logical step forward to improve himself and or his channel.

I get what you’re saying and I do agree but making a new channel would be pointless. he’ll always still be “leafy” and have all the burden that name holds within it. even if he takes on a new channel name. it won’t take any connotation out, in my opinion. you have a valid point but making a new channel doesn’t cover up all his past. its like shorbie becoming shade. pretty pointless he can and should reinvent himself without a new channel, it’s more about him actually changing as a person/content creator.. rather than him getting a new name, if that makes sense. but I do agree,, I wish he’d take on the actions to improve himself.

all of this tbh. i used to ride for leafy and his content so hard but now…it’s just awful. h3h3 is the future of commentary channels and he constantly switches up what he’s doing. so does bionicPIG.

yea.. he regressed. and both of those channels make good videos, in all honesty literally everyone in that community has taken steps to raise standards, improve and introduce variety. everybody has adapted… except leafy.

changing the name wouldn’t be literal, it would be more symbolic, that he’s now new and different and not the same old “leafy” as before, even companies irl do it,(Google used to be BackRub, just google it like I did) change their name to wash their image and or stay new and fresh. True the same old Leafy shit would still haunt him but its impact wouldn’t be as strong if he got a new name. Like with Keemstar, he did some shitty stuff in the past but he changed his name and changed his image now he’s decent. Old fans don’t watch “leafyishere” cuz its expected to have the same shitty, pathetic excuse for a roast videos while a newer name, perhaps “MelvinIsDead” will open ppl up more to him changing. n I’m elaborating just in case Leafy does see this and has the same train of thought.

But everyone can agree he should adapt.
