my sky candle tracker is going well! I figured some stuff out, its nearly ready for me to let my friends test it, yay!
There is an issue which is the save/loading system (its just not working rarhhghghghgh)

for the past few weeks ive been working on a candle tracker for Sky:Cotl that is tailored for me (im sick of spreadsheets)
If it does become functional enough to use, I plan to release it for free! I've never really done this before so we'll see how it goes!

Hello! The strawberry smoothie video was inspired when I was calling my friends one evening. We were talking about strawberry milk and one of them mentioned putting normal milk and strawberries into a blender. I had the idea of putting images of strawberries and milk into the program Blender 3D which is what I used to make the animation and I just kept making it sillier and made the music and everything! It was very fun!
I'm taking a break from Leaf Rat because I left my sketchbook with a bunch of Leaf rat stuff in hospital and I also am having some issues with pain in my arms and hands so drawing is a bit difficult but I'm feeling inspired to try new things in 3d modelling and animation so I'll probably post projects on this account too! but fear not! Leaf Rat will return!

Hey guys! Thank you to everyone who reads or even looks at my comics and art! Sorry I haven't posted in a while and also that this isn't an update of my rodentverse comic.
I felt that it would be better to post this sooner rather than later and it also gives a bit of insight to my drawing process (I always plan out my comics on paper) and also to some characters that are yet to show up in Leaf Rat Adventures!
I also experimented a bit with 2d animation with the last panel. I have a lot to learn even though i have mostly finished my storyboard for my animation and have about half of the rough sketches done in blender, I've never produced an animation of this size before.
My animation is something I really want to post because it shows most of the characters in LRA and I want to introduce you all to them but I must wait!
I'm taking a break from posting comics but I am planning and sketching the next chapters even if you don't hear from me!

sooo I havent planned out exactly the next chapters of Leaf Rat Adventures and instead of doing that I have returned to working on my animatic! #myLeafRatAnimatic (it has lots of secret lore and characters i havent posted about yet)
I don't want to get too burnt out making comics because I want to enjoy making them and making art out of love and care.
I'm definitely not abandoning Leaf Rat! I'm just experimenting with different types of animation and working on a big project!
I'm very excited to share all of my little rats with whoever stumbles across them :D

Hmm ever since we started uploading leaf rat adventures something mildly to pretty traumatic has happened every month. Not even counting the fact that most of the characters and first chapter were made in a psych ward lol. Is this the writers curse people talk about?

To my Canadian followers, here is a petition on the House of Commons website aiming to revoke permissions that would allow ICE offices to operate on Canadian soil, and to cancel funding and subsidies to Canadian companies who are arming ICE agencies with services, goods, and surveillance technologies that would further enable the lawlessness and abuses that ICE has committed. When you sign, you must click on the confirmation email link that will be sent to the email you sign with in order to verify your signature, otherwise it will not be counted.
For my non-Canadian followers, please share this petition and hopefully this will further the reach to other Canadian users on this platform. It is abominable that any company in this country help or in any way facilitate the unconstitutional and dehumanising acts that ICE has done.
In my city of Vancouver, we have been protesting and boycotting Hootsuite, a social media platform that has a $2M USD contract with DHS providing them with social media services from 2024 to 2029. Hootsuite claims they don't use tracking or surveillance with their tools, but the mere fact that they have chosen to work with the violent group in whatever social media capacity, despite previously *turning down* a contract with them back in 2020, is egregious.
Jim Pattison Group is a enormous conglomerate also based in Vancouver, owned and run by one man, Jim Pattison. Pattison previously considered selling an industrial building in Virginia to ICE for them to use as another "holding and processing facility," or more accurately, a goddamn concentration camp, but because of backlash he reversed that decision. Thank fucking god for that, but that does not mean he won't consider it again in the future.
In Ontario, ICE ordered 20 armoured vehicles from a Brampton firm called Roshel to the tune of $7.3M USD. Canada should not be arming a violent group that has shown itself to be nothing more than a racist group of masked kidnappers and power-tripping thugs that has violated the rights of US citizens and immigrants and violated numerous court orders.
I'm disgusted that there are Canadian companies that are willingly partnering with DHS and ICE despite the carnage that has been documented over the last year. It is exactly why I've signed this petition and am sharing it with you. Do not let any Canadian companies think they can rest easy by choosing to work with a violent group that is terrorising, abusing, and murdering US citizens of all walks of life, all at the orders of a fascist government run by abusers and tyrants.
