Well, I’m in LA and always around if you want!

At the moment, I’m in LA as well. I’m pretty much always around too. So whenever you want to get together, let’s make it happen.

It is fun. That’s for sure. You live in LA, do ya?

I do live in LA. But I’m from New York and I still have a place out there as well. Mainly because all of my family is still out there and the city is still home to me. 

Okay, so just spend my 30th in Malibu? Or drinking Malibu? Both? Mm, both.

I feel like you have to do both. Because drinking Malibu in Malibu just wins for being ironic. I expect to be invited to this party when it happens though.

I couldn’t imagine there’s many ways that are better to celebrate than that.

For a split second, I thought you said that you could imagine there are better ways to celebrate. I was about to challenge you to list a few for me.

We’ll definitely have to celebrate next time. Yeah, that’s certainly one thing about London you won’t find anywhere else - even though it’s always raining, the scenery is gorgeous. I’ve definitely missed it.

Let me know the next time you’re around LA. Because we’ll have to get together and go out somewhere for drinks or something. The rain is honestly probably my favorite thing about London. I’ve always been the type of person that loves the rain. Especially on days where I can just stay in bed, watch movies, and listen to the rain outside.

good, as you should. there’s no other way to describe yourself. if you do meet him, can you let him know that i absolutely adored him in that movie? like, matt was the ultimate boyfriend goals. oh, that sounds amazing. i’d totally be down for that. i’m going to have to warn you though, i get a little weird when i’m tipsy.

Of course I will. Better yet, let’s just go on a hunt for him together. Matty was boyfriend goals. I don’t even understand how teenage Jenna didn’t have a crush on him. Because even back then, he was so sweet and just perfect. Don’t even worry, babe. I get super weird when I’m tipsy. So this is just the perfect combination happening here. Ligi is going to take the world by storm when we make this happen.

Strippers are the way to your heart? I’ll keep that in mind for future reference. I’m sure it will come in handy someday.

Trust me, I know. I live with mine! Oh fuck, food and wine on the beach? Can’t say I’m not jealous, love.

Living with your best friend is pretty much the most fun you could ever have in the world. Dianna and I lived together for a little while when we were filming Glee. Those were without a doubt some of the best memories we had. Yes, food, wine, and the beach. It’s a good time regardless. But even better when you’re in the best company. No need to be jealous. You and I could always have a repeat of it whenever you’re free.

J: "I like that idea, no one else I'd rather be stuck with forever," Janel laughed quietly before taking a few bites of food. The pair hadn't seen each other in weeks, let alone have had spent any time together. She couldn't help but be happy to have time with her best friend, if even just for a couple of days. "How was your morning?" she asked, knowing they had catching up to do, teasing "had a good start to thirty or was that my job?" She sipped her wine, as she waited for the response of the girl across from her.

Thank you, babe! Hanging out with my best friend is always an amazing thing. But it makes it even more special on my birthday. Especially if it includes a bottle of wine, a ton of food, and an amazing view of the beach.

For the next year of my life, I’m going to only describe myself as thirty, flirty, and thriving. And if I meet Mark Ruffalo, it will make it even better. Hey, no need to be jealous. I mean, you and I could totally get together and do something just as amazing. Just bring yourself and a bottle of alchol and it’s an instant good time.

You’re thirty? You don’t look like you’re thirty, you look more like in your late twenties than thirty. Happy birthday! Is it your birthday, cause I’ll feel like an awkward turtle wishing you a happy birthday when it’s not your birthday? That is definitely best friend goals. 

Thank you, sweetheart. I definitely don’t feel like I’m thirty, that’s for sure. Yes, it is my birthday, so no need to feel like a little awkward turtle. Although even if you were an awkward turtle, you’d be a cute one. I’m very lucky with the fact that I have an amazing best friend who planned something that amazing for me to celebrate.

Thank you, gorgeous. I don’t even feel like I’m thirty. But then again, I’ve never really felt any different on each passing birthday. It was a fun birthday. It’s always a good time sharing a bottle of wine on the beach with your best friend. You can’t go wrong with that.

I haven’t been in Malibu in ages. Meanwhile, I’m freezing my arse off in London, which I can’t tell if I love or hate. Well, not freezing, but it’s definitely not as hot as LA. Happy birthday, love.

If you were close to the area, I would say that you should stop by and celebrate with me. London isn’t exactly a bad place to be either. Every time I’m there, I do nothing but hop until I drop at all of the cute little shops around. But thank you, sweetheart.

props to you. here’s a question though, where are you gonna live it up when you’re 40?

From here on out, I’m planning on going bigger with each decade. Maybe next next decade will be a cruise with drinks and strippers. Are you volunteering to help me plan it?

Are you telling me that if I move to Malibu before I’m thirty, life can’t possibly improve?

Well that’s one way of looking at it. Although I didn’t move to Malibu. I just spent my birthday at a beach house there with my best friend. But honestly, how can life really get much better than that anyway?
