More Than Words

Zac knew about Dianna’s history with the Franco brothers, Dave was practically his brother. They were so close. They just clicked when they filmed neighbors and Neighbors 2. When she poked his chest he followed behind her, play whimpering and grabbing at his chest. “Ouch, hurts soooooo badly,” he bled with sarcasm. He rolled his eyes in response to her being called upon. He wouldn’t do anything, but he can tease her. It’s always fun to joke around and tease each other. 

Dianna rolled her eyes, playfully, and shook her head. “Yeah, right. With muscles like you have, I’d find it hard to believe anything actually hurt you..” she chuckled, making herself comfortable on the sofa as the screen flashed pictures in front of the pair. It was currently playing a show she knew -- she’d seen it before, but what exactly it was was something she couldn’t tell you. At least, not by the characters. The only ones she would know in a split second were Criminal Minds and NCIS. They’d always been her go-to’s whenever there was nothing on and she needed something to watch. Turning to face Zac, the woman took a bite of her pizza, “What is this show?” she mumbled, palm covering her mouth full of food. She swallowed and wiped her face, “I know I’ve seen it before, but I can’t think of what it is for the life of me.I take it you like these kinds of shows, too, huh?” Dumb question. Obviously, he did if he was watching it. Or maybe he didn’t feel like changing the channel. Maybe he thought it was something Dianna would like. The blonde snapped back into reality, realizing that she’d been blankly staring at the actor while her thoughts ran wild. She hoped and prayed he didn’t think she was some crazy person.

So everyone always asks me whether I prefer Batman or Superman and I just say Spiderman. I can’t help myself. I just have good taste in super heros. 

Ahh, man. You should’ve said Supergirl. Or The Flash. They’re both friends of mine and at least they’re still in the DC Universe and not Marvel. Although, Marvel does have a much better track record when it comes to movies. I mean, even Ryan Reynolds switched over to play Deadpool after Green Lantern bombed in the box office. 

Who would of thought a search for a father off on a hunting trip would still be going on years later. This day eleven..twelve.. who even knows anymore how many years it has been. But it is Supernatural day and it has been a bit more than a decade since this strange little show started. It sure has been an interesting ride and it’s weird to think about everything that has happened and changed within those years..Eleven seasons down..who knows how many more to come.

It’s been eleven or twelve years, already? That’s insane! Congratulations, though. You guys definitely deserve it, especially considering the fan base you have is still so incredibly strong. I’m sure if they have anything to do with it, you’ll have a steady job for the rest of your life. 

You know, after watching a movie so many times, you decide to just watch what’s happening in the background of the scene? Well I mean if that makes sense, I was watching White Chicks but only the little bits I never watch and let me tell you, it’s pretty hilarious. I’ve been laughing in my bunk for the past hour because of what I see.

To be honest, I’ve only seen that movie a handful of times in my life. It’s probably been a couple years since I saw it last, but that sounds like a fun idea. I used to do it with other movies.. or TV shows. I’d just notice something in the background and then for the rest of the time, I’d keep my eyes locked on everything happening that you don’t typically notice. It’s golden.

It had been a seemingly busy couple of months for Dianna. If she wasn’t going on auditions, she was traveling somewhere, and if she managed to be home, she spent her days running all over the house after her almost two year old daughter. The little munchkin had become nothing short of an absolute handful. She was walking and talking and getting into everything, and what made it worse was that the small, now more brunette looking child had some sass to her and it never failed to make the blonde laugh. Even when she was incredibly mad and attempting to get on to the toddler. 

Here’s a helpful life tip from yours truly. If anyone ever suggests that it would be such a cool idea to put glitter in your hair for an event, don’t do it. It may seem like a good idea and look amazing. But when you’re spending all of your time washing your hair repeatedly and it’s still not all coming out, that’s when you realize you fucked up. I feel like I’ve washed my hair about ten times these past few days, yet I’m still finding glitter everywhere I go.

Oh lord.. you should have come to me. I could have told you in a heartbeat that it would have been a bad idea. I once did the whole body glitter thing for a Halloween costume.. worst decision anyone could ever make. I was washing glitter off of myself for at least a month. Every time I thought I got it all, I’d just find more in weird places. 

You’re too nice to not forgive me.

That’s not always true.. but fortunately for you, in this case, it is. 

You sound like such an old mom, God. Can’t you just get a free tattoo of a Mexican drinking worm and not worry? It’s rare that he does it. Like, a couple times a year. Mm, I disagree, but I see your point. You’re paranoid, so paranoid. Yup, I’d say so. Aren’t I? I’m literally so lovable it’s almost scary. Almost.

I am an old mom, in case you’ve forgotten, my dear newly twenty-one year old friend. I’ve already hit my thirties and I do have an almost two year old child. I have actually gotten a free tattoo before. Not of a Mexican drinking worm, but close enough. Worrying’s my thing, though. I worry about everyone. I’m surprised you haven’t majorly picked up that already. Not that bad, but still not the best. What makes you disagree? I am, shut up. No, no --- it’s very scary. Terrifying, even. 

I can believe that! Hey, it’s true. Not that it’s a bad thing. 

Having a kid literally makes you appreciate every little moment in life.. and realize just how quickly time passes by. Is it not? People always seem to say it to me in a more negative manner. 

Thank you, my love! I don’t feel any different so far. Except for the fact that I can describe myself as thirty, flirty, and thriving. It would have been even better if you could have been with us. Come see me pronto so we can have a late celebration. I may just tackle you as soon as I see you.

It really doesn’t change much other than the fact that people will look at you and go “There’s no way you’re thirty!” Which honestly makes you feel pretty great. So, you have that to look forward to because you don’t look thirty, at all. You’re certainly all of those things, so that one, I can get behind. I know, I wish I could have been! Whenever you’re back in LA, let me know and we’ll make something happen. Not if I tackle you first! I’ve missed you so much.
