Fearless in Blue

//Never heard of it, I’m afraid! But after looking it up, I suppose I am familiar with similar concepts like it! Personally, in Leo’s case- I don’t see him as pressured to the point it drives him insane, but more of him with... sort-of yandere tendencies. (Similar to how I’d see Donatello in this situation.) 

Leo would be straight-up cynical, cocky, and snarky- sarcasm is the only language he’ll speak in. Raph would take most of the hit, considering their long-time rivalry. Reverse!Leo in general, would be careless in his mannerisms, and fight without honor. Anything that lets him win. 

Reverse!Babyblue (2018 Leo) would be terrible. He’d stick around the team, mock Raph’s decisions, and humor him as ‘leader’. He thinks fighting for such a worthless spot for a team that hardly listens and a sensei that couldn’t care less for them is an utter waste of time. ‘Let the giant lug have fun in his little playground’, he doesn’t care. Leo’s only in it for himself. After all, in the end- his brothers know who to /really/ look for when they’re in trouble.

//So it’s 6am, and I just finished catching up to the entire Rise of the TMNT series. Very light-hearted stuff only requiring an ounce of your attention, and each ep is only half of what TMNT 2012 used to make. Then, I realized later on how far behind I was in the 2012 series. My last recollection of it was during their secluded forest days where Leo came with a broken leg and a hip, new, beautiful voice. 

I’m thinking of continuing it now until its final season. I adore the now-former TMNT 2012 series. And if there’s time, perhaps, I’ll re-watch some of the much older content. (Highly recommending the 2003 series + 2007 animated movie) Leo became my #1 fave during these times. Hopefully, you’ll feel the same for it too. 

“W-Wait, really? I was voted most favorite turtle!? Better than Raph? Mikey? Don? No, wait. I shouldn’t be surprised. Eheh... everyone loves the leader, right?”

Y-YEAHHH. That’s right. I figured! Uh... always knew I was kinda a big deal around here! Y’know?” Coughs.

“The hell is this shit? Since when did you fakers have time for this romantic garbage? Female turtles? You lose your head or somethin’?! Whatever the hell is you’re thinking, forget it.”

“So I guess... she isn’t real?” 

“Well. He does have a point. What are the odds a mutant, turtle girl would be into my kinda lifestyle anyway? Meditation? Tea-making? Or just martial arts overall?”

“Kind of a stretch, yeah... I mean, ’listen to my troubles’? While Mr. Hothead’s just a few feet away? (My brothers would need her way more than me.)”  

“Does it hurt to dream? She’d probably have a sweet mask on just like mine! Maybe blue too, or something lighter...”

“Uh. Can someone fill me in... we’re not talking about the planet, are we?”

“The yin to my yang, the pepperoni to my pizza, the tea to my bis-”

//Officially welcoming the 2018 (Rise of the TMNT) Leonardo to the this leo-centric blog! As iffy as I was with this remake, Leo now gets so much screentime and love, and personally, has the cutest turtle design. Still catching up with the series, so please bear with me! 

This Leo is very cool, and suave, and worries way less than the average Leo. Might be a bit playful, sarcastic, and overconfident at times, but (like all Leos) he supports his brothers all the same. Also similar to classic Leos, he still stands as Splinter’s favorite. He’s very prideful of his skills, and strives to be recognized as the best amidst the cheesy jokes and banter. 

2018 Leo has no serious bone in his body, as is typical for the entire Rise of the TMNT series. He’ll be instantly available to other RofTMNT accounts. So expect lots of funny answers and him probably bullying the other Leos with his Gen!Z culture. 

“New turtle in the hizzy! ... That means ‘house’ for you ancients.”

“A-Ancient? I was just before you!”

“Give me a break... I mean- he seriously isn’t... we’re not-”

"Aggressive? Raphael’s just not that type of guy. It’s not his jokes, is it?"

"…In terms of aggression? I don’t even know where to begin with my Raph." 

"Well—I remember how mine decided to quit. And almost tried to killed me.”

"Mine actually tried to keep the team together. Relative to his aggressive behavior, it wouldn’t be such a problem if he’d just control his alcohol-intake and quit smoking altogether."

”Boohoo, I’m moved to tears. ‘ch. Mine became the damned Shredder.”

"W-What? Hey, no fair! That’s not true…! Icanbecutetoo”

"Well, Michelangelo is quite friendly. He once threw a surprise party for Irma, and I’m pretty sure he had a crush on one of the Neutrinos. Kala, was it?"

"Hahaha—sure. Mikey, ‘the love machine’. While he did have the hots for that Horridus chick, there was that one time he also made out with Lurch and thought there were turtle babes from outer space. Jeez, what a dork. “

"…but mine’s better, right?"

"Oh, c'mon. Nothing you wear can be anything better than mine."

"Didn’t you just put on a brown rag, or something."

"As much as I’d wanna take that spot, I think the leader would best fit the description.”

"Tallest? Or you mean largest.”
