He was free to do as he pleased on his hiatus, but with promotions close ahead, he had a lot of practicing and prepping to do.
“And you can’t go back to the states because you can’t leave me, and weed isn’t more important than I am.” He scrunched his nose at the idea itself as if Jack could see him through the phone. “You’re home, right? We’re finishing up practice, so I can come over. If you have some drinks left, stop drinking. I better find nothing but a bottle of water in your hand when I get there--understand? Answer me.”

I like spontaneous dates, and nothing fancy. We could go on a walk in the park and call it a date, and that would be good enough for me. So I don’t really have a dream date? I think just being able to spend time with the person I love is a dream in and of itself.

Rather than worry about appearances, I prefer people who are wise. I like someone who manages to be youthful and refreshing but intelligent and mature. They have to be able to make me laugh and they have to have some patience with me. I’m a little difficult to deal with because I tend to stray from socializing often, so it might be a little bit of pushing and pulling to get things from me at times. But if they can understand me, and try their best to allow me to understand them, then I’m always going to be content in a relationship. I’m just glad I already found all of that in someone.

This year was the first time I had a Valentine, actually. We didn’t do anything special, but, hah, just having them as my Valentine was enough.
