Yuki-onna (Yokai) Snow spirit from Japanese folklore that appears to travelers who venture into heavy snowstorms. Sometimes she appears as a woman who needs help. Other times she carries a baby, and when a well-intentioned traveler picks it up, he cannot move. In other stories, she invades homes. Either way, the traveler will die.

The corner of her lips lifted in a twisted, tempting smile, “Care to share?” And just then, I also knew it was too late. Too late for doubts... ________ Encendí mi cigarrillo, y allí estaba. Una mirada y supe que era peligrosa. Me acercó más, una promesa de dolor jugando en sus ojos. La comisura de sus labios se elevó en una sonrisa torcida y tentadora, "¿Te importaría compartir?" Y justo entonces, también supe que era demasiado tarde. Demasiado tarde para dudas.
