I've been really lucky, I can't lie. I've been in bands for as long as I can remember and then kind of had to quit that when Stranger Things took off. While I was on the show, I realised I couldn't just leave music all together. It means something to me, so I started a solo endeavour and have just been really fortunate with the way things have turned out. That's impressive though. Bluffing your way through an audition like that and then going on to actually play in a show is huge. You must have some kind of musical skill, even if you aren't fully confident with it. Even if you don't think you'll be switching into the music scene any time soon, did you at least have fun? No, I love having two different careers to swerve into. I couldn't pick one over the other. I have too much fun doing both. Does that make me greedy? Maybe. But no one seems to have that much of an issue with it and fingers crossed, it stays that way.
It really turned out great for you. Have to admit that I didn't know you were in a band before Stranger Things. I've only known you as a solo artist. And I actually really enjoy your music. Haven't seen you live yet though so hopefully that will change at some point. I just know those three basic guitar chords that everyone knew back in high school so that you could impress some girl or guy that you liked. But that was it. Don't think you could call it some musical skill. I had to learn everything from scratch and still feel a little embarrassed whenever I see clips of the show of me singing. While it made me really nervous, it was a fun thing to do. But I might just stick to non musical roles from now on. It doesn't make you greedy, mate. You're just very passionate about both those things. I can only imagine how busy your schedule must be though when you combine both. If people have an issue with it, it's their problem, not yours.
