Happy Place 🥰💕🍼
Ok everyone, so in a few months baby boy and I are going to take a vacation together and it's going to be a whole trip where HE is a FULL baby. My sister is also going to be stopping by and spending some time with us while we are on vacation.
So here is what I need from you guys. What rules should I have for the trip????
We are going to be staying in an Airbnb on the trip just to be clear and the one we got has a pool and has 3 bedrooms in the house so each of us can have our own bed room.
So what does everyone think??
Let me see your rules.
Currently looking like this...
Diapers
1. Must be in diapers at all times
2. No Potty for any reason
3. All diaper changes MUST be done by an adult
4. When we leave the house, the diaper bag must be taken and we will not be going home early just to change a diaper.
5. Mommy will pack diapers for the trip.
6. Adults will decide when a change is needed and which diaper will be going on next.
Food/drink
1. All meals and snacks must be child/baby appropriate
2. All meals at home must be eaten in high chair with a bib
3. All drinks must be in a bottle when at home and a child appropriate cup when out.
4. All baby food must be picked up once we get there and must be eaten on the trip. Adults will pick out baby food first, then with out letting baby see what was picked up the adults will ask baby which ones he wants and allow baby to pick any and all jars he wants.
5. Snacks will be served like a child. baby plate or child's snack bag
6. baby will eat what he is given.
Sleep
1. Stricked bedtime
2. Full bed time routine will be completed (ie: brush teeth, wash hands, bed time story)
3.baby must stay in crib until an adult let's him out.
3. baby will be put to bed with at least 2 bottles for bed and at least 1 for naps
Clothes
1. Mommy will pack ALL clothes for baby, he has No say
2. No pants allowed at home
3. baby's clothes must be changed by an adult when an adult says so.
4. Adults pick out each outfit.
5. A pacifier must be clipped to baby at all times.
General behavior
1. baby must Speak like a child at all times. no grown up words.
2. Baby must hold hands or hold on to the cart when out of the house.
3. Baby is only allowed to watch child TV and TV will be controlled by adults.
4. Baby will only be allowed to play with appropriate toys
5. Phone and other electronics will not be allowed (Except Tablet as a TV for bed)
6. Adults will document our trip for posting after.
7. No baby items will be hidden at any point.
8. Baby must sit in hugh chair and do school work every day.
9. In baby play area, baby must crawl around. no standing/walking.
10. Baby will be given baths, no showers.
Discipline
1. No more then one warning will be given at time of Misbehavior.
2. Punishments will be hard to ensure baby's behavior
3. Punishment will be completed by the adult in the easiest way possible for them. baby's privacy will not be considered for this (IE, not taken to a different room just to have privacy)
Even if you are in Pampers 24/7...
...doesn't mean, you can't please your mommy!
Of course, not the big boy way - with that soggy, poopy Pampers between your legs, you obviously can't please mommy yourself... But you can and should make sure, she is equipped and happy... 😅🍆💦

Build a Better Baby - Through Boredom!
Let's face it -- your diapered kiddo is going to do whatever you say. Whether it's because they're your sweet, submissive angel (😇) or your freshly spanked brat (😭), your Little will be watching the baby cartoons you tell them to watch. They will play with whatever tinker toys you set in front of them. They will waddle off to bed at the early hour you choose.
But that's not regression. That's compliance.
If you want your pamper packer bouncing up and down at the idea of playing with their shape sorter and bead maze, you need to prime their brains with boredom.
30 minutes.
Every day.
Put them in a fresh diaper, plug in their paci, and lay them down for Tummy Time. Take their phone away. No screens, no books, no music, no conversation, no distractions. Your little one is just going to suckle and stare at the floor. They shouldn't be uncomfortable, but they shouldn't be cozy enough to nap, either.
Do you know how long 30 minutes feels when you have nothing to keep your mind occupied? They are going to be bored out of their mind.
Then, after a couple of weeks of this strange torture, you hand them a toy. Maybe a dolly or a stack of blocks. A spinny wheel that makes animal noises. A box of crayons and some paper.
You won't even have to tell them to play with it. Their starved, shriveling little brains won't be able to resist making their stuffies dance, or soaking in the primary colors of their 9-piece puzzle.
The fun part will come the next time they earn a punishment. Nothing devious or creative. Just say:
No toys for Tummy Time.
And they'll realize what all those blocks and shapes and dolls and crayons have come to mean for them. They might even start crying. They're back to staring at the floor, counting out an eternity of seconds, when all they want in the universe is their spinny wheel that reminds them that the cow says "Moo."
Use boredom.
This is so very hot on many levels. One, its focused on the outcome, two its training, three it makes Mommy proud, four its realism and five it makes mommies happy. All little boys need this!
