Pokemon (and Arven) is still heavily in my mind and I really wanted to draw him with a ponytail, so I did this sketch but I'm too lazy rn to finish it and I haven't made proper rendering brushes yet so it will wait a bit (and I want to draw other things).

nemona feels like an obscure blorbo instead of the main rival character from the latest pokemon game because to get to her really good content from people who really get it, you first have to wade through the ocean of yandere pervert obsessive stalker annoying punchable bimbo amazon goddess interpretations of...

... a neurodivergent and possibly disabled high schooler who's desperately trying to make any friends or get any support from her rich neglectful family - while everyone in her school is jealous of their own imagined version of a privileged asshole version of her they made up - who deeply and platonically loves and supports the one new kid who agreed to take the time to get to know and respect her and her special interest without having to hold back her true self

unlike her, it's not great!

kinda feels like she has the same problem in our world that she does in hers.

and since I'll never be able to follow even the simplest of deadlines as God intended, I finished the first one after one day and a half, while the second took 3 hours and 25 min to be done lmao

Does Brassius ever sleep

I guess this man has a really fucked-up sleep schedule, especially when he gets into an artistic frenzy and he like- works on his newest creation all day and even at ungodly hours of the night because he has to use every drop of inspiration all at once, before it goes away, for he won't put his heart at peace if he doesn't get to finish the piece in one go...

Eventually, at some point, tiredness takes over his stubbornness and he goes to sleep; but like, it 3:30 am when it happens and he finds himself already woken up by 7:00 am because he's been disturbed by The Thoughts™️ basically "all night" long. Although there are rare occasions when he manages to add one hour of sleep... just one, no more no less. sometimes he's just like me fr

But I must say... nothing of this happens when Hassel's around: he makes sure Brassie gets some well deserved rest every day and doesn't overexert himself. From time to time, he reminds him how important sleeping is for an artist, in order to create even the simplest of pieces (but we know that Hassel, being the supporting husband that he is) thinks each one of Brassius' works is a masterpiece on its own

You know, I wasn't expecting Hassel to be in Horizons just yet, despite Brassius being there and them being eternally married having a strong canonical connection. Wouldn't make a lot of sense, if you think about it. Liko doesn't go to Naranja or Uva, and Hass is a bit too senior in the League to just randomly show up.

... But no, no. Silly me. Of course he's there anyway, because Paldea is a personal attack on me specifically. (Also the entire EphemeralArt Discord, but those darlings don't meta as much as I do. <3)
