Made it back to Sarasota, safe and sound.

We never know why God allows something to happen, especially something that in our mind, seems to be the end of the world. “Why God!? Why would You do this to me!?” Do we not know? Have we not heard? Our destiny as a people, created by God, is to be reunited with Him, in perfect harmony, with nothing in between. That we might be one with Him, is what The Bible says (John 17:21). So His heart IS for us, not against us, I assure you. The next time “something,” happens to you, good or bad, think to yourself, “Could this possibly be for my good/betterment?” Because honestly, it is. God ALLOWS things to happen to us because His plan for us is one of holiness and purity; breaking away the old, dead things in us, (pride, lust, deceit, envy, etc.,) so that He can bring into us true, eternal life, out of those dead places. This is the character and heart of the one, true God. Though it may sound cliche, Jesus loves you. He really does. HE IS FOR YOU, NOT AGAINST YOU.

You may feel like your situation is unique, to you. That you're a hurricane of crazy, due to what's going on inside of your heart and your mind, and everyone else is, "normal". But the truth of the matter is, you're no different than me, or anybody else. You've got the Cancer; you're infected with Sin. Everyone born into this universe is cursed, and there's nothing You can do to change that. But Jesus came as the Remedy to cure, irradiate, our Sin; the Sin that plagues us all. And if you believe that He holds the Cure, and you take hold of that Cure, you choose into a life of chemotherapy. A life of Jesus irradicating Sin from your body; you mind; your heart.  We are all left with the residual affect of Sin, but Jesus promises us full restoration. So stay on the operating table, and let chemotherapy happen. Stay in Jesus' presence, and please don't fight His healing hands. Let the healing begin.
