I don’t understand how though? What this post is saying is that cis people are making fun of trans people because they think that we are irrational and have no concept of gender or sex. Those “did you just assume my gender” jokes aren’t funny.

That's a broad statement to make and largely inaccurate though That joke simply arose from various trans people who are that irrational because let's face it there are and more often than not it's not used in a context meant to belittle someone else But that post is basically how that kind of joke gets created in the first place Is it a good joke? Depends on when and how it's used
