I'm haunted

private,   selective,   incredibly   canon   divergent   shizuhara   hiruko   from   the   hundred   line   last   defense   academy. 

@100lives: "Happy birthday, Shizuhara. I'm back to bring you another 'dead mouse', as per usual." There's only amusement in his tone as he brings up their little convo from the other day. Takumi hands her a gift bag ( a step up! the presents are normally just handed over plainly ) that contains three items in it :

The first is simple hairclip in the same of a lavender sprig, a dark purple that would blend into Hiruko's hair and thus not be too noticeable.

The second is a cute, soft cat plushie of calico colors; he's not sure why this particular gift sounded fitting, but since Hiruko likes to compare him to a cat, then surely she finds them appealing!

And the third. . . well, the third is a little handmade booklet of what looks like vouchers that simply say 'One Redeem to put Takumi Sumino in the VR Torture Nexus.'

"It's just. . . well, stuff that I think you'd either like or would get use out of. Though I do ask that you only use one voucher a day. I don't think I can take a continuous beating from you all day every day."

She   takes   each   item   out   of   the   bag   and   inspects   it   slowly.   A   hair-clip   that   matches   her   hair.   The   cat   plushie   is   one   she   will   certainly   have   to   cuddle   —   INSPECT   —   in   more   detail   later.

The   final   gift   gets   a   small   chuckle   out   of   her.   Sparing   with   Takumi   would   be   fun.   VR   would   at   least   allow   her   to   go   all   out   without   risk   of   killing   him.   Despite   the   fact   that   he   can   be   revived,   it   would   be   inconvenient   to   deal   with.   She   wonders   how   detailed   the   injuries   from   her   axe   would   seem   on   him   in   VR.

"I   won't   go   easy   on   you,   Sumino."   She   smiles.   It   was   so   like   him   to   carefully   consider   each   gift.   Along   with   his   cheesy   jokes.   She   hates   how   at   ease   it   makes   her.   As   if   everything   will   work   out.   Even   if   she   knows   this   is   just   temporary   happiness   before   he   forgets   again.
