Like no joke, I never see those "everything about this game company is SLOP and YOU'RE the PIG" or "GREEDY COMPANY BAD" videos about any other game company. Valve raised Steam Deck prices and I've heard none of the vitriol that Nintendo got, the PS5 is like 1000$ and all I hear on that is crickets. What makes it worse is that big YouTubers will shit on Nintendo for various reasons and their fanbase will just copy their opinions without forming their own.

If anyone wonders why Nintendo fans are so defensive, it's because they're always the butt of the joke and the gaming community goes out of its way to shit on them. A lot of Nintendo fans are bullied just for liking Nintendo games and I'm speaking from personal experience because it's happened before.

Look back to when the Mario Galaxy movie came out and got bad reviews, how many douchebags took that as an excuse to go to comment sections and attack people who enjoyed it under the guise of fighting an evil slop company? The worst part is when they treat it like a damn political party, calling people bootlickers for liking Nintendo games and insisting that they're the arbiter of taste and quality.
