I am not going to apologize this time for my long absence this time. I am learning I need to take care of myself and my mental health issues. This painting is the break point on a long #anxiety strike. I could not paint, I felt panic to fail, to do it wrong, to be a loser and feeling an impostor... But after a year of having started therapy I am starting to respect myself, learning to deal with myself, that my past isn't my present and I don't have to be in an abusive relationship with myself interioriced due to childhood trauma. I am discovering who I am and giving me the time to get to know what I want to be. Finally after half a year this commission #painting is finished. Small steps. it has taken me a couple of weeks to finish this #illustration because I wanted to livestream the last part with all of you (and i did it and it was deserved). I am happy with the final result. It is quite magical and shows quite well my soul. My next project will be a review of the @artezaofficial gouache i purchased last week. I have finished my #domestika course and this is my final artwork applying all I learned from @anavictoriana . I have to admit it helped me a lot to get a bit out of the artblock. Having an structured class helps me to focus and not jump from thing to thing and get drowned by chaos. I love this illustration and i am going to prepare stickers and A5 prints. Look at this stuff Isn't it neat? Wouldn't you think my collection's complete?. At the end I didn't hesitated on this one and at the end i could get into color what i envisioned from the beginning. Past week was hard for me. Had another crisis triggered by my therapist but with the help of dear friends and bf i felt better. Sometimes my brain is pure energy and ideas, one day i can eat the world thinking it will be ok and next i am pure chaos. Anyway I am omw and working on it.
