I feel like It has been such a long time since I drew them. So here’s a bunch of doodle to satisfy all the Vess’ fans out there !! (I know there are at least a few >:) )

Shadow Lauramy has a “Starved Form” since she is a Faded. But I’d like to imagine an alternative to my Ship AU where she would be in that form. Despite being scary, she can still be cute like a puppy :3

What are they ?
Faded are OCs that have become Faded after being replaced or forgotten by their Creator. It is an inevitable curse.
What do they look like ?
Typically, they are black silhouettes lacking details, with white eyes. Some can have white parts (like Shadow Lauramy, for example). These parts are typically transparent, as if they are slowly fading away like ghosts. When a Faded starts to develop these white parts, it means they are entering the Fade Phase.
Within their chest, their DreamBit, which acts as their heart, may be damaged (cracked or with missing pieces) or darkened due to a lack of energy needed to maintain their original appearance.
Here are some of my OCs that are Faded so you can have an idea of what they can look like. In order from left to right : Fool, Bunn, Poofy, Shadow Lauramy (SL)

Cycle of an OC
A Creator creates an OC. When that Creator replaces the OC with another one, loses interest in them, or starts to forget them, the OC slowly begins to become a silhouette, growing darker and darker until they fully become a Faded.
Once they become a Faded, there are only two possible outcomes:
- They are remembered by their Creator and return to being a normal OC.
- They bear the curse and struggle to survive by feeding on imagination.
If they fail to survive or feed enough, they slowly fade away completely. That is how a Faded dies: by falling into oblivion and being erased from existence.
Hunt for Survival
Once an OC becomes a Faded, they must hunt in order to sustain themselves and avoid completely fading away.
Faded must consume a Creator’s imagination and creativity.
(In rare cases, some can feed on dreams and nightmares instead.)
They can also feed on an OC’s DreamBit energy. (OCs have a DreamBit star within their chest that acts as their heart.)
To feed, they simply drain the energy from their victim, much like draining their life force. The victim may suffer from headaches, dizziness, and the loss of ideas and inspiration (not actual memories). If a Faded fully absorbs all of an OC’s DreamBit energy, the OC may experience chest pain similar to a heart attack. They may also begin to fade away or even become a Faded themselves due to not having enough energy to maintain their existence.
However, Faded usually don’t need to absorb all of an OC’s energy. They only do so when they are in a Starved State.

Starved State
Some Faded can enter a Starved State, a last resort that helps prevent them from completely fading away.
Some transform into monstrous forms (like Shadow Lauramy, for example), while others simply become feral, acting purely on instinct as they hunt for imagination.
This happens when a Faded has gone too long without feeding on imagination and has become completely white and transparent.

Abilities
- Can sense or smell imagination. (It has a distinct scent that only Faded can detect.)
- Can absorb DreamBit energy.
- Naturally stealthy due to their shadow-like bodies (their black skin).
Weaknesses
- Constant need to feed.
- Gradually fade away if they starve.
- Imagination-rich environments may overwhelm weakened Faded, driving them to hunt or causing them to lose control.
- Becoming fully transparent is a sign that complete erasure is near.
Trivia
Can Faded still feel emotions ?
Of course they can. Anger, hunger, and sadness are unfortunately the emotions they experience most often. Despite everything, they are still "human."
Can they grow old?
Technically, yes. Becoming a Faded does not affect their aging, unless their Creator originally designed them not to age.
Can they be wounded or harmed?
Of course. Some Faded become sensitive to light, especially their eyes. In some cases, their dark skin can burn under direct sunlight (Poofy, for example. They can also be injured by weapons just like a regular human. However, this may also depend on whatever weaknesses their Creator originally gave them before they became a Faded
Do they live in a society?
They all live in the sewers, hiding from the police, who hunt them down and imprison them to prevent attacks on others. They remain hidden during the day, and at night, the bravest venture up to the surface (Utopiart) to feed.
Are they all hostile?
No, not all of them. Some are constantly hunting, having lost their humanity as they are consumed by hunger. However, most are not hostile. They usually become aggressive only when they are starving or need to defend themselves.
IMPORTANT : It’s part of the ship AU and it’s not canon to the lore
Umbry is a small Faded Lauramy managed to create. After spending a couple of years with SL, Lauramy thought it would be a nice surprise to finally create an OC of her own that the two would care of as their own child.
Umbry is really young, around 3 to 4 years old. She barely speaks, having struggle to speak properly (she can either makes some squeaks sounds or small cute monster noises) and also because she is really shy. She is very cuddly and scared to be left all alone, that's why she is cuddly. She is often scared of new things and needs time to learn and accept new things. She also tends to cry easily. Whenever she makes a mistake or makes a small accident (breaking her toy or spilling her drink onto her for example), she cries, afraid of her yelled at and not liking failing.
Also, if you mess with that child, you'll be dealing with Monster SL(an AU version of Shadow Lauramy) so DON'T YOU DARE TO TOUCH THAT CHILD !

My Jester Fella was created in the middle of Art Fight. I don't know why I had this idea to make a jester character and it sticked to me. Once I created him, I uploaded him onto the website and... HE GOT BOMBARDED WITH TONS OF ATTACKS !! I don't know how people noticed I uploaded him and MAN ! HE got targeted a LOT !! XD
This year's theme sure helped, with Comedy being tied to clowns (despite me being in team mystery this year XD). Anyway, thank you everyone who attacked him !!

I’m really proud of my improvements Just between 2025 and 2026, there is quite a big gap. (I hope you can see it just by the small thumbnails ^^’). I was often criticize of having a flat art style despite working in 3D Animation studies. So, I used Art Fight to work on my rendering skills in order to improve.
I’m proud to see I’m finally improving and from now on, I can only do better. I drew more full bodies, more complex shadings, some characters I thought I wasn’t able to draw correctly in my style. It has finally paid off ! It's one of the rare times i'm seeing myself improving and i'm glad to notice it

Quick note : they are both Demi-aroace and lesbians
Lauramy encountered Shadow Lauramy (SL for short) during a random evening after work. SL attacked her, trying to feed on her creativity but couldn’t because of Lauramy’s anxiety (I should explain it someday 🤔)
To make it short, SL had to stay with Lauramy so the cops wouldn’t catch her. By doing so, the two would get along. Lauramy would discover that SL is her own Faded (I’ll make a post about what Faded are soon)
And the two would have a strong bond together !
