Yet another art dump!! :D

First 4 are Kaede, Izuru, Nagito, and Kyoko from danganronpa :P

(Side note: I love Kaede a totally normal amount /sarcasm, Izuru is literally just like me fr fr and I draw him so often, Nagito still makes me irrationally angry but he’s fun to draw, and Kyoko is Kyoko and thus, perfect 😌)

I’ve also started going through the first game with a group of buds and we’re voicing the characters! So far, I’m realizing how well Misty, Dusk, and I did when we wrote the cast list cause everyone is doing INCREDIBLY!

Anyways!

Next 2 are of my danganronpa oc Kito! His talent is spying (really wasn’t sure how to make him look more like a spy than just genuinely inconspicuous, but I think him having hair that he can use to cover his most identifying features works nicely at least *shrug*)

Next is Ishmael from Limbus Company! I’m really enjoying it so far, though I’ve only just started the second chapter(idk if that’s what it’s called) Love the art and the gameplay is really fun! *weeps and cries about Yuri*

Then my goober, Cherry, who’s an axolotl hybrid thing :P they’re working with the government to study a new timeline in the hopes that it’s more stable than the home timeline :D (this is the plot of the Minecraft server they’re in by the way lol)

And finally! Aksinia! Another danganronpa oc :D she’s the ultimate mastermind and one of the 7 students behind her school’s killing game, though she’s the only one of the 7 who doesn’t have a somewhat justifiable reason to be doing what she’s doing—

Big ol Danganronpa art dump!

I started drawing some of my favorite dynamics like they’re modeling on a magazine cover(that was the original inspo at least) and they’ve all taken around 4 hours each man and like an hour of that work is not as visible purely cause I like putting 3 filters on all of them—

I think I may have that one artist disease where I make myself suffer by having tedious rendering styles, draw on high px canvases, and spend upwards of 15 minutes picking filters idk lol.

Anyway, I discovered the style of symbol rendering a week or so ago for the Izuru and Nagito drawings when I thought Izuru would look cool with symbols in his hair and while I absolutely love the way it looks, there is a reason it’s the most expensive rendering type on my comm sheet ;-; very very tedious to draw all the tiny symbols and I had to take a break for my poor fingers.

At least it looks cool even if the filters make the teal on Izuru specifically look so radioactive that you can barley tell there’s an extra technique when zoomed out💀

Also, I opened comms recently! I’ll be trying to post more art when I make it (rather than waiting a month) to reach more people, but consider looking through my ToS and examples if you’re interested!

My oc Sebastian!!!!! A commission by @arrowstike-bunn who did an INCREDIBLE JOB!!!! I love love LOVE the pose and he looks exactly how I’d imagined!! Not to mention that his expression is sooo in character ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Of course, ‘knowing your style’ can happen after a certain amount of time or once you reach a level of confidence or maturity in your art journey so it’s different for everybody!

I also love being my own biggest fan, I love flipping through my sketchbook to stare lovingly at a pose or expression I particularly enjoyed drawing or worked really hard at. And those moments where a section of the piece comes completely natural as you drag your pencil/pen down the page/screen AHH! I love it!

Thought I’d share my thoughts again, just in case some artist needed to see somebody romanticize creative work lol.

My friend @mistync and I did a cover of Blink Gone from Alien Stage today during karaoke with friends so I decided to draw our personas, mine as Luka and hers as Till!

It was so much fun and we spent all week practicing with the Romanized lyrics(since neither of us know Korean) and they learned super quick lol it was really impressive, honestly.

I find it very funny that I used to see so much content for this game series when I was like 13 and got too scared after the first trial’s execution during DanTDM’s playthrough that I never touched it again until like last year when a bud of mine wanted me to see them play.

THEN a few months ago I told them I wanted to play it myself and so we’re almost through the 2nd game(this session was starting and completing chapter 4 and then starting chapter 5) and now HERE WE ARE lol.

Obviously the series has a bunch of flaws and I have quite a few problems with it(including the reasons I refuse to play ultra despair girls). Perhaps it’s because I am biased and very uncomfortable with that type of fanservice, but I’m not always a fan of how women are portrayed in the games(thankful at least for the main character typically being very respectful). Plus, no narrative is perfect! Some of the story is meh or doesn’t make sense.

Despite its flaws though, I do quite like the characters and story!

SPOILER WARNING FOR THE 1 AND 2

My Rain keychain arrived today!!! And they’re so adorable!!!! I love their soulless lil eyes and the flowersssss! It also has a front epoxy layer for all my sensory needs :D AND ITS HOLO AHHHHH!!!!

They’re from @potatoblu ‘s series EnderBlu which I definitely recommend for the art and cute characters(it’s very slice of life and I love keeping up with it).

Got completely absorbed into Cookie Run Kingdom like four days ago and I immediately started obsessing over Affogato and Clover even though I have never seen them interact anywhere other than my kingdom but I THINK THEIR DYNAMIC WOULD BE COOL(and I love their color palettes together—)

Especially with them both being the ‘silver-tongue’ type but one for music’s sake and the other for manipulation. Like, okay, they’d probably have opposing goals but what if they held hands????

THIS IS NOT REAL. If you get this comment, they’re just trying to get you to delete your fic.

1) I would have gotten some kind of email from Ao3 if this was true

2) this comment is formatted to be perfect to tack onto any fic they choose

3) ALSO why on earth would Ao3 get rid of entire fandoms off the site? Even if they WERE inactive? Who knows if others will be ‘late’ to the fandom and want some fic to read. Who knows if someone wants to come back to their 6 year old account only to find most of their fics deleted.

I’m lucky to be a reasonable adult who has seen tricks like these who also had a very kind person comment their own doubts.
