Take Your Peace

The ep hasn’t aired yet, but I wanna get this out there

I am not ok with the writers taking Castiel, million bajillion year old angel of god; a soldier, a warrior - a creature that wretched our hero Dean from hell; a creature who, despite not feeling emotions (at first) as we do, gave his life for our species over and over - defied his family for us - because he believed in us, when god didn’t. He is not stupid. He is not inept. The brilliant foreign exchange child does not come to another country and get stupid; he may not know the culture, but the wisdom isn’t lost.

I am not ok with the writers turning him into a giant cheesy comic relief character. Because that’s stupid.

The entire situation was literally a choice that John made.

He chose to make his life’s mission a quest for vengeance.

He chose to make his kids soldiers instead of taking care of them.

Literally…it was all his decision.

But, in my opinion, ONE thing. And that was the need to move them around constantly. The only reason I say this is because in John's Journal there were multiple instances where when they DID settle down for a moment, someone always, always, appeared for Sam. The elementary school teacher that tried to get him and ended up being a monster, the man that followed Sam and asked where they were heading, who eventually got killed by Sam himself in a horrid way that we will never know of, because John left it out. The OTHER guy who tried to take Sam and who Dean killed when he was like, what, 9? 12? I can't remember. But it was obvious they were going after Sam, and John knew it, he talked about it actually, was freaking out about it.
