Ben and Harper

Ben glared down the tower that he was still trapped in after so long, Mab kept trying everything to get him to join him and keep up her happy family aesthetic. Ben felt like everything he’d tried just about everything to get down and frankly he was hoping that now he had a pretty decent, albeit basic idea of how to get down.

Ben had been hoarding the sheets that had been given to him every day, claiming that no one brought him any before and insisting it was fine. He’d found a wonderful way to stash them, one of the tiles on his floor was loose and he’d spent the first week or two of him being there hollowing it out to be a storage compartment…well actually at first it had been a tunnel before he realized that he was at the top of a tower and that likely wasn’t a great idea. Now it was full of sheets which he was tying off to reinforce it to hopefully hold his weight otherewise he was in for a long fall and now Ben was sure he had almost enough to at least get down to the top of the next castle spire, from there he could find a window or something to climb into right? He hoped? 

“sounds good, I’ve been ready to go home since I got here” Ben said laughing he just wanted to have his family and life back to normal though he was certain that mab would darken his door again someday

Entering the throne ro he already saw it was torn to pieces no doubt in some kind of hissy fit of mab and he raised a brow until he saw her sitting regally in her throne as if nothing was out of place

“Hello Mother!” The twins greeted her.

"I said you could leave, don't worry I'll take great care of the children" mab said she gave a smile and a little wave before she turned and headed back inside

"mab you can't keep them!" Ben protested quickly mab turned and glared

“well i guess that depends on whose playing it, you could go simple like who can draw the highest card, something more complicated”

Jane smiled and ruffled her daughter’s hair.

“don’t worry I’ll be fine, once you’re safe I can kick ass and get out of here with Alec and merlin” Harper assured him Ben nodded before he hurried after the twins if anything to protect them from whatever mab had lurking around the corners.

When they got to the suite he shut the door and was careful to lock the door before glancing up at the tranquil scene before him of the four adults in front of him quietly reading and enjoying each other’s company

“well I’m glad to see how torn up you are about my captivity” Ben said smirking a bit as he looked at them all

"I just escaped as well don't be harsh on us"

"I'm the distraction to get merlin and Alec in, we've been trying to find you for what feels like months"

Kitty looked up, “hi Ben!” She went back to her sandwich then dropped it and looked back up at Ben! “Ben!”

“yes it is dangerous but I needed to get out of that tower” Ben said to them he looked up at the tower and realized that you couldn’t see the window from the outside, mab must have enchanted it so will couldn’t find him, well will and apparently now Jane and the twins. Mab was good at covering her tracks

Casper gave more bacon to Alec. “Perhaps I could have a tour of your lovely home?”

Jane perked up, “I would be happy to show you the gardens and perhaps his majesty would join us? Obviously Adrienne will be there.”

“Harper,” Mab said causing the princess to look at her “Perhaps you’d enjoy spending some time with me while they do all of that? I’d much like to show you all that you’ve missed while you were gone.”

There was that grip again, this time Harper was smart enough to redirect her anger towards the table which didn’t break so easily but she nodded

"but will was wondering if you'd perhaps consider looking over our son as well"

There was a loud crack that quickly rang out as Harper's glass shattered in her hand and a servant quickly came to help the princess and her now stained dress

"i-im so sorry my lady" the maid said quickly her eyes flashing nervously to mab who leveled her with a dangerous glare "the glass must have been weak I shouldn't have given you such a weak glass" the maid said Harper's demeanor changed instantly as she took her good hand and out it in the woman's shoulder

"it's alright. None if this is your fault" Harper said she shot a glance over at mab with her sweetest smile
