If I had a nickel for every time I fell in love with a wisecracking womaniser character hiding simmering anger and despair after losing a loved one to the supernatural, who then joined a small team of operatives working with the supernatural to better understand what happened to their loved one, who had a love interest within the team who was an intelligent and capable researcher but died whilst they were stalling on actually entering a real romantic relationship, who started off with a positive relationship with their boss which slowly deteriorated as they became more and more depressed and disillusioned, who died by having their body obliterated whilst helping their boss save the world which was the turning point before the final seasons where the show lost its original core cast, and was also bisexual, I would have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot but I’m worried what the fact that it happened twice says about me.

My favourite part of Torchwood is that it’s just like 5 really traumatised bisexuals underneath Cardiff. And 👆 there’s a Pterosaur.
