Always- Dean Di Laurentis
Dean Di Laurentis x High!School!Sweetheart
warnings: fluff, angst, comfort, mention of sex but nothing explicit, talk of iud, Beau is alive.
summary: high school sweethearts, what could go wrong?
words: 6k
If you knew Dean, you knew about her. His high-school sweetheart, the only girl to ever have him and the girl he swore loyalty to.
There wasn’t a moment in all the years the boys had known him where he didn’t include her name in some way, it was almost funny to see how many times he could mention her. The first time they met her, during one of her free weeks in freshman year, they understood why.
She was sweet but wasn’t stupid and they saw why the couple worked in the way they did. It wasn’t only Dean that was obsessed with her but she was also obsessed with him too.
“I want something like that someday, look how they look at each other.” Logan said as the couple said their goodbyes by her car.
“yeah dude same.” Tucker agreed with his friend.
Fifth line called them a power couple even if she wasn’t a student at Briar because while Dean studied law at Briar, she studied engineering at Harvard and they were both extremely attractive.
Even when their careers took complicated turns, they managed to make the five hours of distance work. No one enjoyed the away from home games but when those were in Harvard they did, those two days Coach Jensen knew Dean wouldn’t be found in their hotel rooms but at his girlfriend's place instead.
And what could the man say if he played even better after seeing his girl, Coach Jensen chose to look to the other side and to pretend one of his star players was sleeping where he was supposed to.
By junior year of college thighs were a bit more difficult but nothing they couldn’t overcome. At least that was what she thought.
“who is the girl next to you in the picture Garret posted?” she asked on facetime one night. “i don’t recognize her.”
“who? Allie?” He already knew it was her. “she’s Hannah's best friend. She’s been around a lot more since Garret started dating Hannah.”
“oh she’s pretty.” it wasn’t something unusual to say and he usually said something like ‘yeah she is’ because they had that type of relationship but this time he changed the subject.
“Are you coming this weekend, baby?” That was enough to distract her.
He had his arms wrapped around her the second she stepped out of her jeep.
“boys bring her bag inside please.” Dean said more as a demand than a request.
“You're lucky we love her Di Laurentis.” Logan said, kissing her cheek when Dean walked past him. “Welcome back mom.”
she laughed.
“Hey son.”
“What about us?” Garret said looking from the door next to Tucker.
“Hello son’s.” she laughed again. “All three of you.”
“That's much better.” Tucker said. “Hey mom.”
It had become an internal joke after their first year because when the couple was together they acted as parents to the rest of them. She was bossy to say the least but they didn’t care because she drove to the house a weekend in first year when she wasn’t supposed to just because Garret had fallen ill and they didn’t know what to do, she took care of him all weekend and never said anything about it.
Like that many other things she did for them without ever asking for something in return or even saying she had done something for them.
Dean had avoided all day the subject of going to Malones tomorrow night because he knew Allie would be there with Hannah.
“Oh c’mon baby let’s go. We can leave early.” his girlfriend insisted while they showered. “It’s going to be fun.”
And if there was something he could never do, was saying no to her.
“Alright but two hours top, I only have you here for four days and i want to make the most of them.” he pecked her lips twice.
“Oh such a sweet way of saying you want to fuck all weekend baby.” she laughed and he followed. “Love that for us actually.”
“See? we do share the same brain cell baby.” he kissed down her neck.
“You made me remember i have to get my iud replaced next month, will you be able to come with me?” he nodded. “I booked it on friday 23rd because i remembered you don’t have a game that saturday.”
“Great baby, I’ll get there Thursday night then or mid afternoon depending if i attend class or not.” he chuckled.
“Go to class Di Laurentis, otherwise I'll call your mom.” She reprimanded him.
“Don’t talk about my mom when I have my hands on your tits sweetheart.” He bites her neck, surely leaving a mark there. “Not the image I want to have right now.”
“Hurry up lovebirds I want to shower too.” Garret banged on the bathroom door.
“Coming!” she replied and regretted the choice of word the second she said it.
“Gross didn’t need to know that.” The curly boy gagged and retrited to his bedroom.
She looked gorgeous as always it didn’t matter what she wore, to him she always looked beautiful but this time his eyes weren’t only focused on his girlfriend of more than five years.
Now and then his sight shifted towards the brunette he had spent a lot of time thinking about lately, she noticed it, of course she did because she knew him better than anyone else but chose to ignore it.
He would ever cheat on her, right?
she would’ve crossed her heart on saying that he would never do that but right now as they talked in the phone, the thought appeared for the very first time.
“what do you mean you’re not coming to take me to get my iud replaced?” she wanted to punch her computer screen but that would only damage it because dean’s face wasn’t actually in front of her. “you said you’d come, you don’t have a game this weekend.”
“I know baby, I know. it’s just that weelsey has a show on saturday and we all said we would go, it’s important..” he realised how fucked up it sounded. getting your girl to the doctor vs going to the show of one of your friend’s girlfriend. “No baby, I didn't mean it like that.”
“wow you’ve outdone yourself this time.” she scoffed. “you know what? I'll see which of the guys can take me. Don't worry about it but don’t call me because I don't want to hear your voice nor I want to see you.”
she hung up and looked at her roommate who had heard the conversation.
“do you think he has someone else?” she asked Paloma.
“No way hon, you know how stupid boys can be.” she sighed. “I’ll take you to get it replaced, don't worry about it.”
That was on wednesday afternoon and by friday she still hadn’t answered a single call. Two hours before she had to go to the appointment, a knock interrupted her while she watched some sad movie and when she opened, there he was with a bouquet of her favorite flowers in hand.
“I am an idiot.” She nodded in agreement. “Can I come in?” She moved to the side to let him in and closed the door after he had stepped inside.
“Paloma is taking me, you shouldn’t have come.” She takes the flowers and moves to put them in water.
“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have even considered not being here when you’re the one taking the weight in your body with the contraceptive.” She scoffed. “What?”
“It’s not about that, It’s the fact that you gave me your word and when something fun came up you decided coming with me wasn’t as important.” She sighs. “If you’re feeling guilty, great because you should.”
They looked at each other for a second before he hugged her and she let him.
“I lost direction of what’s the most important thing for me and that’s you baby.” He kissed the top of her head. “I swear to god.”
“We’ve been doing long distance for the past three years, we only got one more left.” she mumbles into his shoulder. “I’m scared. Scared that you’ll wake up someday and realise you don’t want this anymore.”
“No sweetheart.” He takes her face in his hands. “You’re all I ever wanted and who I’ll always want you.”
She really wanted to believe him but there was this unsettling feeling that had been placed in her chest that she couldn’t shake off and it only increased a month later when she went to briar for a home game.
they had gone to buy breakfast early on Friday before he had to go to class.
“you gotta try this caramel thing Allie made me try one time, I think you’ll love it.” He said without thinking twice.
“You come here often with her?” she questioned.
“Sometimes, we both like the bakery they have.” he shrugged his shoulders, already stepping forward to order for both of them.
“Allie comes often?” She asked Tucker in the evening as they cooked dinner for the night.
“Yeah sometimes with Hannah and sometimes she comes to hang around, Dean and her share a class or two.” He continued his tasks. “Why do you ask?”
“I found her notebook on Dean’s desk and I was just wondering.” she brushed it off.
“I don’t want you hanging out with her anymore.” she told him as she changed for bed.
“What? with who?” He looked at her from his place in bed.
“Allie, I don’t know what game you are playing or if you like her because you’re allowed to like someone else, we’re human but I don't like whatever is going on.” She looks at him with an expression she doesn’t usually use. “I don’t like how you look at her, I don’t like how she looks at you and how she avoids looking me in the eye because it makes me think there’s something going on.”
“There’s nothing going on baby.” He sits up.
“Maybe not physically but emotionally? there’s something going on.” her eyes fill with tears. “Just promise me that if you ever start losing feelings for me or if you start feeling the slightest feeling for her, you’ll tell me. I don’t care about anything else, just promise me you’ll tell me.”
She didn’t look like a grown woman at that moment, she looked like a shell of what everyone always saw. She was being vulnerable in a way he had only seen a handful of times.
“Sweetheart.” He got up and closed the distance, holding her forearms in his hands but she didn’t look up at him. “I love you, only you.”
“Just promise me Dean.” She whispered.
He took a moment before talking again.
“Yeah I promise.” He pressed a kiss to her forehead before they laid in bed.
He didn’t sleep that night, in all the years together she had never said something like that to him. Had he been such an idiot? Everytime he closed his eyes, he saw the tears in her eyes and how sad she looked.
She had hugged him the whole night without even realising, it was something that had always happened since the moment they started sleeping over.
“Sweetheart we’ve got to get up, I have to be in the rink in two hours.” He murmured into her hair while he moved his hand up and down her back.
“Wanna lay here all day.”
“Me too but we can do that when we come back from the rink, we only have an hour of training today.” She opened her eyes. “Mornin’”
“Mornin’ baby.” He leaned his head to kiss her.
“Wanna wake up like this forever and ever.”
She giggled and kissed him again before starting to get up but didn’t get to go very far as he pushed her back down.
“I’m gonna go make breakfast.”
“In a bit hon.” He moved so he was on top of her now.
“You’re gonna be late Di Laurentis.” He made a sound of not caring about that.
“They can start without me. Gotta do something more important right now.” He started placing light kisses on her neck.
“What you gotta do?” She knew the answer but she loved hearing it.
“You.” With that she took his face in her hands and pulled him up to kiss him.
A kiss that turned into a make out session, that turned into dry humping, that turned into sex and him being fifteen minutes late to training.
“Di Laurentis you’re late!” Coach Jensen said from the rink.
“Sorry coach had something important to do!” He said, giving him a charming smile.
“Mom is in town coach.” Logan laughed.
“Y/n is in town? make sure to bring her tomorrow, lovely girl and you play better with her here.” It was funny how even their coach knew the nickname the boys had given to his player’s girlfriend. “Get in this place and start playing.”
She entered the place beside Beau who had picked her up, she wore a black jean with boots and his varsity jacket on top of the jersey with number #66. Beau had gone to buy some drinks when a few girls below her started talking about her and Dean without noticing she was there.
“His girlfriend is so lucky, that man is obsessed with her.” She smiled at the words.
“Yeah but there are rumors that Allie has been making passes at him and that he likes her back. Poor girl, doing long distance and people saying things you won’t even find out about.” The girl and her friends nodded.
She froze, the smile disappearing from her face. Beau came back just in time to hear the rest of the conversation.
“She’s on campus and did you notice Allie didn’t come with Hannah to the game today?” She looked at Beau. “Like I’m not saying he’s cheating on her but that’s weird, he looks at her in a way I wouldn’t want to see my boyfriend looking at a girl like that.”
“She’s a strong soldier. I would not like to be in her shoes right now, imagine your boyfriend going to breakfast with another girl or spending as much time as they spend together but when you come to visit the other girl avoids you at all cost.”
“Y/n.” Beau said as she got up from her seat and gathered her things to leave the place.
To the sound of her name the three girls turned around and murmured ‘shit’ as they recognised her.
“Let me go Beau I swear to go I’ll punch you if you don’t let me leave.” She muttered completely gone with anger.
“I’ll leave with you, you can’t drive like that.” He got up from his seat and started walking behind her.
Beau texted Dean as he followed her.
text
beau ‘dude you’re fucked’
dean ‘the hell do you mean’
beau ‘yn is leaving, some girls were talking’
beau ‘it’s bad like really bad’
beau ‘and if it’s true, you’re an asshole’
dean ‘fucking hell i’m leaving’
“the fuck do you mean you’re leaving?” Garret said to him when Dean told the team he had an emergency.
“She’s packing her things, put in Jacobs he will fit just right.” He didn’t wait for anyone to reply and just bolted out of the place.
He was sure he had ignored every single warning traffic sign just to make it to the house before she could leave.
“Baby.” he opened the door to find her throwing everything she owned inside the suitcase. “Wait a damn second.”
“go to hell. I gave you the opportunity to come clean last night just for me to hear today that you spend a lot of time with her and that’s why she disappears every time I come to visit.”
“It’s not like that.” He exclaims.
“Then what is it like dude! like enlighten me.”
“Yes I’ve been spending a lot of time with her because we share classes and we get along really well, we share some interests and we are quite similar so we started hanging out.” She looks at him for a moment before realising what time it was.
“You’re supposed to be playing.”
“And you were packing your shit, I wasn’t going to play knowing you were planning on leaving.” That was the Dean she loved but was now clouded with what she had heard.
“I’m planning on leaving, not that I was. I am leaving the hell up right now.” She continued opening drawers to take all the things back with her.
“What are you doing? Why are you taking what you’ve left here?”
“Because I don’t know when I’ll be back here or if I’ll even be back here.” The words settled between the two.
“What do you mean by that?” His voice cracked.
“I mean that I don’t know how to look at you right now, it means I don’t want to come back to a place where everyone pities me because my boyfriend has been spending a lot of time with a girl and looking at her in a way no one would want their boyfriends to look at another girl like that.” Her voice broke at the end of the sentence. “It means…”
“Don’t you dare say that.” He took two steps and was right in front of her in two seconds. “No.”
“I think we need a break.” She started crying. “You need to be honest with yourself because I don’t think you’re, I know you love me but you feel something for her that you don’t want to accept.”
“I want you and only you.” He was exasperated. “We had this same conversation last night.”
“I don’t think that’s true anymore. I think you’ve been growing feelings for her that you don’t want to accept because we’ve been together for ages.” She watched as he started to cry and her heart broke even more. “Let’s give ourselves a few weeks and if you can look me in the eye after that and tell me you don’t have feelings for her, we’ll work it out.”
“I don’t have feelings for her! I already told you.” He paced around the room bringing his hands to tug his hair. “I don’t know how life is without you.”
“Maybe that’s the thing.” she said letting her shoulders fall. “I don’t know how to live without you either but something inside of me feels that’s why you’re avoiding something inside of you.”
“I don’t want to live without you.”
She didn’t say anything else after that and he continued watching her pack until he couldn’t do it anymore.
“I can’t watch you make it seem like you’ve never even existed in this place.” he walked out the door and walked down the stairs to sit down on the sofa.
When she made it to the first floor, he had his face in his hand and she knew he was trying to stop crying.
“I’m going. I don’t want the night to catch me on the road.” He looked at her and just nodded before standing up.
He walked with her until they reached her jeep, helped her get her bags in the back and with a lot of pain opened the door for her.
“This is not what I want.” His voice was raw from crying.
“I have to get going.” He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her tightly against his body.
“Just let me know when you get there.” he looked at her without letting go of her body. “Please baby.”
“I’ll let you know.”
Neither one of them let go and he took his chance to lean down and kiss her, realising he didn’t know when he would see her or if he was going to ever kiss her again.
they pulled away when they ran out of air.
“I love you.” He whispered, placing a short kiss to her lips.
“I love you more.” She gave him one back. “Always.”
He watched her drive away and when he got back inside made a mess of his own room.
When the boys got back to the house, all three of them walked up the stairs to almost fight him until they saw him sitting on the floor of his room and the disaster surrounding him.
“Oh shit.” Logan was the first to talk. “Bro.”
“She’s gone like actually gone, she took everything she had here and said we needed a break. Said I wasn’t being honest with me or her and that I have feelings for Allie.” They had never seen Dean like that, he was absolutely gone and looked even worse. “How the hell did this happen? like how did I fuck this up so hard for her to think this?”
“First of all, get up and go to the shower while we fix all this.” Garret said, pointing to the room. “After that, you come down and we’ll talk about this.”
Dean nodded and Tucker helped him get up. Half an hour later he walked down the stairs, wearing a black hoodie and sweatpants.
He narrated what had happened to them while taking small sips from the cup one of the boys had given him.
“It was going to happen bro, I’m not going to lie. We all find it a little weird how much time you’ve been spending with Allie but we also know you absolutely adore y/n.” Logan said. “Maybe you should give yourself a bit of space to think if you’ve developed some type of feeling for her, I’m not saying that you have but.”
“I know. Fuck I don’t know why I hung out with her so much.” Dean shakes his head. “I don’t know what to do.”
“I think Logan is right, maybe you don’t have feelings for Allie but you like her or like the attention she gives you while y/n isn’t here.” Tucker said. “Just take distance from Allie too, it’s the best for you and your relationship because even if you’re taking a break, you still have a girl and a relationship you have to take care of.”
The four of them kept talking and later decided on laying down on the couch eating pizza and watching a movie until his phone rang.
A picture from one of their proms showed up on the screen.
“Pause it, it’s her.” he picked up and stood up from the couch walking to the kitchen. “Hey sweetheart.”
“I just entered my place.” He could hear her turning all the lights on.
“Did you eat something?”
“I didn’t stop on the road but I think I’m just going to sleep, I’m not hungry.” She sighed.
“You gotta have some frozen pizza from last month, just put it in the oven and eat it. You’ll have a headache tomorrow otherwise.” His throat was starting to close on him.
“Yeah you’re right.” Neither one of them talked as she turned on the oven and got the frozen pizza out of her fridge. “It’s in the oven.”
“Great.” He paused. “Did you drive well?”
“Yeah not much traffic but it was about to rain when I got here so I made it just in time.” She sighed. “I’m going to eat and go to bed. Take care of yourself, I love you.”
“I love you more, talk to you tomorrow baby.”
“Goodnight hon.” She hung up fast after that.
He said goodnight to the boys before going to his room. The tears came quickly but sleep did not.
For the next couple days, they shared a few short messages here and there and just like his routine with her had changed for the first time ever. His routine changed too, he went from class, to the gym or the rink and straight home sometimes in different order but the things were just that.
He didn’t go out anymore, he had told Allie that even though he appreciated her they couldn’t hang anymore because it was costing him the love of his life and the boys started to really worry about two and a half weeks after his girlfriend left the place.
“Dude he has dropped some weight.” Garret said to Tucker while Logan nodded. “He has to eat and to do well in class, something that he’s also not doing.”
“They need to get back together. I talked to Paloma, her roommate, because I knew she wasn’t going to be honest with me and she told me the same thing about y/n.” Logan sighed. “This is bullshit. I get why she did what she did, it was getting weird between him and Allie but it took him a day and a half to cut her off.”
“I think cutting her off is pretty explicit proof that he doesn’t have any type of romantic feelings towards her.” Tucker added. “We have to get him out of bed, trick him into spending a weekend away somewhere and take him straight to her with flowers or something.”
“Love that plan Tuck, you're a genius dude.” Garret kissed his friend’s head. “Let 's do it.”
Dean was mean, he was sad and angry. And that made him Mean.
He threw side looks to puck bunnies who tried to shoot their shot now that he was supposedly single, he had almost punched Beau at some stupid thing he said and almost flipped off the team’s trainer.
“C’mon dude we’re going away for the weekend.” Logan said to him as soon as he entered the house friday afternoon.
“Not in the mood.”
“Don’t care, your bag is already in the trunk so get the fuck in.” Garret said and Dean told him to fuck off. Two hours later the five of them, including Beau, were on their way to Harvard.
He had fallen asleep and was woken up when they arrived where she lived.
“What are we doing here?” He asked confused.
“You are going to walk up there and fix it, we already bought the flowers and her favorite chocolates.” Tucker said.
“She won’t open up the door to me right now, she hasn’t answered my texts in three days.”
“Yeah she will, it’s been three weeks and both of you are miserable. You don’t have feelings for Allie and being without y/n is making you someone you’re not and the same goes to her.” Logan replied. “Just go up there, we are going around somewhere else with Paloma.”
“You are talking to Paloma?” Dean asked.
“Yeah why do you think we’re here?” Beau said. “We have a group chat.”
The boys left as soon as he got out of Garrett's truck.
He knocked twice, it took a few seconds until the door opened and there she was, wearing one of his hoodies and looking like she hadn’t slept in weeks.
And he looked the same.
“Hey baby.” He said.
She just looked at him and jumped into his arms, him catching her without problem.
“God I just missed you so much sweetheart.” He stepped inside the apartment, closing the door with his foot before walking to the sofa and sitting down with her in his arms.
Both started crying the second they looked at each other in the eyes.
“There’s no one else in this life for me other than you baby.” He took her face in his hands. “I love you, only you and it has only ever been you.”
She nodded at his words.
“I’m so sorry hon I’m so so sorry, it just got in my head and I couldn’t shake it off.” She trembled with sobs. “Life doesn’t feel right without you.”
They sat in each other's embrace for a long while before they talked about the three weeks they spent alone.
“I get mean without you or at least that’s the thing going around campus.” She laughs at his words. “They’re right, I almost hit Beau the other day.”
“Paloma said I was a ghost that only came alive when I told a guy to go fuck himself at the bar the other night.” He chuckles.
“Sounds like my girl.” He kisses the tip of her nose.
Their eyes flicker to their lips and before they knew, they met halfway in a kiss.
A kiss that was about to turn into something else when the boys and Paloma entered the apartment just in time as she was pushing his shirt up.
“Well I guess they’re back together.” Tucker exclaimed. “Thank god.”
“Always on time y’all.” Dean smiled at them and she left his lap sitting at his side. “Thank you, all of you.”
“He’s already the same guy we know.” Beau said. “Good to have you back mom.”
“You have to shower because we’re going out, all of us, and your hair looks a mess.” Her friend said and Dean laughed.
“Di Laurentis!” She exclaimed.
“What baby? She’s right, you should brush it.”
“You didn’t shower for two days dude, leave her alone.” Logan said laughing.
“I was a disaster without you, can’t be without you baby.” Dean said. “Well c’mon you have to shower.”
“Alone.” She smiled at him.
“No way, I have to supervise you’re wash your hair right.” He smirked at her.
“Ugh dude, we’re leaving. We’ll be back in half an hour.” Paloma said, opening the door again.
“Make it an hour and a half.” Dean said loudly as they exited the place.
A month later she was back in the stands and Dean was playing the way he knew. Fast and sharp, and great.
“Thank you for being back.” Coach Jensen said to her at the end of the game. “He was so gone without you.”
As she waited for him leaning on his truck, Allie came to her.
“Hey.” The brunette said.
“Hey.” She replied, giving her a small smile.
“So I wanted to say sorry, the way I acted was wrong. I liked him and I knew he had you, it wasn’t my intention to make you feel bad.” She said with a tone of regret and honesty. “Should’ve known my place and to back off.”
“Thank you for the apology, there’s no bad blood but you get that I don’t want you hanging around him and that we won’t be friends right?” Allie nodded at her words. “You’ll find someone like him someday, just single.” She jocked.
“Thank you and yeah I get it, don’t worry.” The girl looked back and saw Dean walking towards them. “Have a good night.”
When Dean got to her, Allie had already walked away.
“What was that?” He asked.
“She wanted to say sorry.” She shrugged her shoulders. “Ready to go?”
“Yeah but we’re skipping Malone’s and we’ll be going to dinner just the two of us.” He opened the door for her. “Somewhere chill, don’t worry.”
He drove a little far from the town, to a nice quiet place that looked a little like the place where they used to go back in the day when they first started dating.
They ate and chatted quietly about everything and anything.
“I wanted to talk about something sweetheart.” He said as they walked near the pier, enjoying the first warm days of the year. “We have a while before graduating and we have our masters to continue after that.”
“Yeah, I've been looking over those, to see if we can do them at the same place. I’m done with the long distance the second we graduate.” He let out a laugh at her words.
“Great, we’re at the same place then.” He stopped where they could see the sunset set. “I have the ring.”
She looked shocked for a moment.
“The ring?” A big smile appeared on her face.
“I am not proposing right now.” She huffed and he laughed at that. “But I have the ring, got it the other day actually and before you go snooping around. It’s already at my parent’s place.”
“Rude.”
“Just wanted you to know when the time is right.” He smiled softly. “It’s going to be us.”
“After we graduate.” She said.
“Alright, after we graduate.” He promised.
And that’s what happened, the summer after graduation. They went to Europe and he got down on one knee at their second destination, Greece on the island where Mamma Mia, her favorite movie, was filmed.
“A hundred times yes.” She dropped to her knees in front of him and tackled him to the floor.
That night as they laid in bed after celebrating their engagement, she looked at her ring more closely.
“It’s similar the one I said it was beautiful on tiktok a year ago.” She looked up at him.
“Yeah it’s the same designer and your mom gave me you grandma’s ring, that’s where the stone came from.” He smiled. “except the two on the sides, those came from my nana’s ring.”
“You designed it?” Her eyes watered.
“You deserve something special baby.” He kissed her.
“I want you to wear an engagement ring too.” He laughed at her words.
“I’ll send you the number of the designer, don’t worry.”
They kept it to themselves for the two months they kept travelling and when they came back, they didn’t tell their families first instead they gathered their found family with the excuse of giving them some gifts, which was true, and showing them pictures, also true.
“It’s a damn miracle we’re all here dude.” Tucker said, sitting down beside his girlfriend.
“Yeah thank lord because it would be too much trouble to give everyone their shit.” Dean replied and she told him off. “Sorry baby.”
“Well I'm excited to see what you’ve gotten me.” Logan said like a kid in christmas.
They gave all four of them and Paloma a small wrapped thing.
“Before y’all complain, it’s not the only thing for y’all.” She said.
“Mom still knows us too well.” Beau said. “Wait you’re not pregnant are you?”
“No Beau I’m not.” Dean chuckled beside her.
“Could be with all we’ve been…” He couldn’t finish his sentence because she nudged him on the side with her elbow. “Sorry.”
“Anyways.” She smiled. “Open them.”
“No way!” Paloma exclaimed first.
“Dude!” Garrett said after.
A small keychain that said “Groomsmen” and “Bridesmaid”
Everyone jumped up their seats to celebrate with them, taking turns in hugging the couple.
“We are taking it easy tho with the planning and stuff because we still have our masters to do but we’ll be sending y’all a save the date.” Dean said.
“This is huge. Mom and well you bro are going to be married.” Beau exclaimed excitedly. “You actually made her want to spend the rest of her life with you, miracle.”
“Dude! fuck off.” Dean said but laughed at the same time.
Almost two years later they stood in front of all their loved ones, somehow they managed to make the list down to sixty people, wanting it to be as small and intimate as possible.
“So I pronounce you Husband and Wife, may you kiss your lovely bride.” Beau, who they had chosen to officiate their wedding after they almost lost him a year back in an accident, seemed right with all he had done for them since they had met him too.
“Damn right.” Dean murmured before wrapping an arm around her waist and putting his hand on the cheek that wouldn’t be photographed.
They both whispered I love you before kissing.
They watched as everyone enjoyed their wedding, how happy everyone looked and how loved they felt by the end of the night.
“Let’s jump in.” She said against his lips.
“In the pool? with that little dress on?” Dean said, wrapping an arm around her waist. “It’s gonna get ruined.”
“So? It’s going to be the best memory ever and it’s just a dress.” He smiled at her words.
“Yeah, let's do it.” After he said that she immediately took her shoes off leaving them without looking back and they run towards the pool jumping in hand in hand.

“I love you so much.” She laughed, taking his face in her hands before kissing him as he picked her up from under her bum and spun around in the water.
“I love you. Always baby.”
Mamma mia, here I go again

Mamma mia, does it show again?
