Do we have a canonical (or someone's excellent headcanon) reason for this ridiculousness of a car? I have always wondered. It's so...distinctive, seems at odds with their whole lifestyle. Maybe he just "knows someone" anywhere he goes that can hook him up with a vehicle better suited for various needs? Maybe it's the car he always wanted as a kid? Maybe he won it in a poker game and getting a new paint job seems excessive? Thoughts? Links to existing discourse (I'm sure it's gotta be out there somewhere)?

Pretty sure Eliot is a car guy. If I remember correctly, there is also an episode in leverage redemption where Harry borrows one of his expensive cars for a con. I think there is also another episode in OG leverage where Nate borrows one of Eliot's cars but don't quote me. I haven't rewatched recently enough to remember
