one of my favorite things that's happened during my playthrough of Subnautica 2 so far:

this fish, the Marrowbreach, is labelled to be (and upon basic observation, appears to be) very dangerous and aggressive and scary, so a lot of the time spent interacting them is specifically spent avoiding, or trying to escape them. they have a very specific, telegraphed attack where they launch towards the player in a super scary way.

however. i noticed that despite their scary appearance and loud growling noise, they don't actually do much damage when they attack you. and so i thought to myself "am i categorizing this unfamiliar social activity as aggression? am i being reductive towards how this creature actually operates? am i sure it's not just playing with me?"

and i can't help but remember that galvatron's raging monster shtick is a bit of an act. but i'm also shocked by how obvious it is, despite most people believing that he's nothing more than an idiotic rage monster

when we get glimpses into galvatron's mind he is a cold, calculating, intelligent strategist (except for when he's legitimately out of his mind, which is fairly rare and most often happens when he's face to face with megatron) who uses acts of intimidation to terrify and manipulate his enemies
